Nice Grill, Great Buy!
A bit more expensive that other brands, but not incredibly so. This is typical Weber quality and I found it fairly simple to put together. I've read some complain about the aluminum legs, but I found them satisfactory and fit very securely into their slots. No complaints from me as they work as advertised and easily carry the weight of the grill without bending or feeling like they are going to fall off. I have a family of 4 and found that there is enough surface space to grill enough to feed everyone in one go, (6 chicken breasts, 8 sausages with room to spare). Unlike others, I found that the handles are fine. The lid handle has a heat shield underneath it that keeps the handle cool and it never even got warm while grilling. Again, the handles being made from a plastic type material is a non-issue. Overall, I'm very pleased with this purchase.

The 18" is by far the best. It just a better grill but you cant ...
First I went to home depot and lowe's in the winter to find this. They did not have them and I ordered from 2DayDeliver and got it in two days. I should have done that in the first place.
I have owned and used the 18 and 22 inch webers. The 18" is by far the best. It just a better grill but you cant grill a turkey unless you cut it up. The grill cooks better. Remember to mound the charcoal on one side for searing and use the other for baking. It also uses less charcoal than the 22". If you have big parties buy a second 18". I have two and would not do it any other way. Also gas does not come close, you might as well fix your food on the stove. Once again the 18" weber is the best grill ever made.

Not same quality as original Weber Grill
We went back to a Weber Grill after the gas grill. Our first Weber grill lasted over 18 yrs. They were heavy and durable. Although, this seems fine, Im doubting it will last half as long as the first. The grill itself is light weight and looks cheaply made. It is much smaller than the hooks it rests on so can slide around (any smaller and there would be problems with it falling through). The hole vents are so large bits of charcoal will fall through. With larger air vents, you can get a really hot fire going. It works well, but was expecting more quality in a Weber than a generic grill.

Good quality, design and function.
My first year charcoal grilling and I thought this was a great grill. Small enough to fit nicely on my little deck. Small enough for just my needs, but also was able to grill enough food for a couple of other people. Seems to be quite sturdy and well-designed: I like the venting, the ash collector, the wheels and the top and can hang off the side. Very easy to put together! Don't pay for the service to assemble it. Purchased utensils and a hanger for storing off the side of the grill. Also, purchased the cover that goes with this and it fits perfectly. Quite pleased with the whole thing.

Great product. This is the second one I've bought. My father used Weber grills , and they are the only brand I will buy. The last one lasted over 15 years. I keep it outside and use it quite often.
This seller was very good, fast shipping, well packaged, and arrived in perfect condition. I hope I live long enough to need to purchase another one in 15-16 years. I'm 61, so I hope I'm still grilling when I'm well into my mid 70's. 😀

If you need a more advanced grill you probably shouldn't be the grillmaster at your next event. This thing does its job and it works well. It is also very easy to clean. While the metal does come oiled? It's a great grill for the money. You may want to upgrade the size later especially if you have more than 2 people to feed.

You can't beat a Weber grill. I had one just like this I bought while stationed out in Texas in 1988. It went to Korea with me twice on two different tours. And I kept it up until last week and started to look for something more up to date. I looked at Weber's Smoke Grill which is a step up but, there was not enough difference as far as price than this one and this grill here in my opinion you can't cook a better steak or pork than this one here. And from my first experience with my first one, it last. You get your money then some with this grill. You will not regret buying this grill.

We love our Weber. My husband had been wanting a gas grill for a while, but we decided we didn't want to output that much money right now. He was looking at charcoal because they were cheaper. I was a little hesitant because I thought it wouldn't get used that much due to the hassle of starting the charcoal. I saw this one on sale around Father's Day and read the reviews and I decided I might give it a shot. Once I saw the charcoal starter and how people said how easy it was, I had to order. One of the best purchases I've made in a while. We have used it a bunch this summer. I thought it might be too small, but it is a great size for a family. Unless, you are having a huge party, then I think this one will work for you. Even with a party, I think it would work fine. We use lump charcoal and it stays hot for hours. It grills wonderfully too. My husband was kidding me saying that I didn't know he was going to become a master griller, but he had to admit it wasn't him, it was the Weber. We have found that soaking some wood chips in water and adding them to the charcoal makes for a meal that far surpasses anything you can make on a gas grill. Now he's upset because his favorite lump charcoal at Sam's is gone. He wants to be able to grill through the winter.

If it isn't broke...
This is my fourth Webber 18.5 Kettle. I toss them whenever I move, as they are just too messy and difficult to break down.
If you have this basic Webber, you know it is the standard by which all such grills are judged.
However, I have two problems with this "one touch" model; the "one touch" handle and lower vent closers are very difficult to assemble. I had to hammer the parts into the kettle bowl to get them to fit.
Second, the plastic handle on the kettle lid gets very hot when the lid is on for extended periods-unlike the others I have used.
However, at this price it is, by far, the best non-gas unit.

My last one lasted 12 years. Stored outdoors in midwest winters, never cleaned. Never brought inside.
Only got rid of it as lid was slightly bent due to my stupidity.
Awesome product at a great price. Same made in USA Quality!!!
2DayDeliver prime 2 day shipping comes through for me again.
