I didn't want these for coloring, but to use for comparing and denoting colors when desc ribing products online
These are great. I always love Crayola as a child and growing up, but I wanted these just to compare colors for the purpose of writing more informative reviews. Everyone knows Crayola colors, and I learned long ago selling on Ebay that monitors could be tricky when showing photographs, but EVERYONE is familiar with the colors listed on Crayola.
So the color names offer a bit of standard frame of reference for many people, so I wanted to keep a box on hand.
The box keeps them neat and pretty as long as it is used. I always loved that the box comes with a sharpener when i was a kid. That and the wide color selection made it my #1 choice in crayons from the time I started to color to now at close to half a century old. :)
Other countries also use and know Crayola, so if you do use them to help denote colors, they'll be of some help to international buyers as well.

I have used crayola crayons for majority of my art projects and they have worked great. The Pros
I have used crayola crayons for majority of my art projects and they have worked great.
1. The colors are not chalky or washy. You can color on the same spot for more than once without worrying about the color fading.
I had used some other brands of crayons where if I overlapped, or colored on the same spot to make it darker, it would get chalky instead and the color would fade away.
Crayola, on the other hand, is nothing like that.
2. You get plenty of colors. Sometimes I even mix the colors, which doesn't work as good as water colors, of course, but not extremely bad either. This is a very convenient pack if you are into coloring books or projects with lots of details.
3. The colors are as seen. If you pick a yellow crayon, you will get the yellow color you see, it won't be lime. This is a problem I had faced with a few other brands of crayons. The crayons would look extremely dark, and appealing but once applied on the paper, they would appear as very light, and or completely different shade.
Now, the con: As mentioned above, sometimes I mix the colors to get a certain shade; which means that I wish if the crayola crayons would come with bunch more shades/colors. This would make these crayons even more convenient for projects.
Overall, I am satisfied with these crayons. They are fun to use, feels comfortable on the hand, and are smooth when applied on the paper.
One tip that I use sometimes is to outline a shape or an object on the paper with a coloring pencil and then using crayons to fill in the shape or object. This looks neater and it also prevents smudging or wobbly lines if you have shaky hands.

Crayola Crayons. For the Kid in ALL of us!
I am so excited I got my package of Crayola crayons today! Can we say 64 colors:)
After working with children 20 plus years, I realized that no matter what toys they had, arriving with a fresh pack of Crayola crayons and a coloring book in hand would always win them over. With smiley faces they would remain busy for hours.
Well now I figured it was my turn! So when I found this enormous box of Crayola crayons on 2DayDeliver for $5 it was a no-brainer. I went out and bought an artist's sketch pad as well as an adult coloring book (therapy for adults;)) and waited with bated breath. It’s been years since I’ve seen a box of Crayola crayons, especially one with so many colors. So I did not know what to expect.
Well I certainly was not disappointed! 64 absolutely delicious colors with the coolest names like ‘tickle me pink’. They certainly didn't have names like that when I was a kid nor did they have a box with a built-in sharpener or instructions on how to make a flipbook! I used to love flip books. I also really like the layout of the box since all the crayons are very accessible. In addition, I think it's wonderful that Crayola decided to create a website to inspire all the budding Picasso's in us.

The original are still the best!
Periodically I buy "crayons" and sometimes I go for the cheap ones. Unlike those discount crayons from companies I'm not certain adhere to safety standards, the Crayola company ships beautifully homogenous waxy sticks that are always wrapped tight and straight. Little detail? Sure, but nothing is as irritating as using a crayon and having the outer sleeve fall off forcing you to tape it back on and dealing with a lit of celophane tape.
Also, having the sharpener on the back is a real bonus.
I checked out store prices on this 64-unit set and this came out over a buck less (and even better with the free Prime shipping!)

I opened my box from 2DayDeliver with 5 or 6 other item in the box and discovered what was rolling around and making a racket. All of the 64 crayons, no make that 128 since I bought 2 boxes, were rolling around! The box was colored real pretty! Thankfully the box didn’t sit out all day in the hot sun or that would have been a whole other mess. Now I have the 128 crayons (or colors as I called them when I was a child) sitting in a box to sort out and put in their box. I wouldn’t bother but one box was going somewhere else. We all know they end up in an old tin because the kids don’t put them back where they belong. Y’all need to secure these boxes so they don’t escape during shipping!

Best of many brands we've tried.
We've tried a few different brands, but we always come back to Crayola. Their crayons are less waxy and have better coverage. With 64 different colors you can pretty much find any shade you're looking for. There's a good variety of shades in each color family and many of the colors have cute, fun names. My kids (ages 8 and 3) love that added level of silliness.
The paper peels easily, and the sharpener works fairly well. The box itself is fine with older kids, but my 3 year old tends to be too rough so I bought a plastic container to keep these in instead. Our box was not missing any crayons and none of them were broken. All had the expected amount of sharpening. Everything was in good condition.
My favorite part is how easy these are to reuse. As they get too small or the kids break off chunks, I add the pieces to my crayon "graveyard" plastic bag. When it's full, we melt them for art projects or put them in molds and make new crayons in different shapes. Crayons in general have many uses and are great for any age. Crayola seems to make the best ones as far as I've found.

Can be wiped off wood table, lots of shades of pink
Very happy with these crayons. My 3 year old will color for an hour happily (almost 4). She will also start coloring the table. These crayons wipe off very easily with a damp paper towel. You can also sort of erase a scribble with a normal eraser. You still see a faint color background, but my 3 yr old is pleased enough.
The crayon sharpener is great. You can take it out of the box if you want. I have broken a few crayon tips trying to sharpen. At least for me the sharpening works close to 85% of the time. I'm ok with that.
There are many colors to choose from. All the coloring is bright. There are enough shades of pink and purple (thank you crayola) to suit my pink-obsessed toddler. I'm also pleased with the price.

Crayola's always been top notch when it comes to crayons.
Crayola crayons were always my favorite growing up. I recently bought a box to have when I hang out with my friends' children or when I feel like coloring myself. The price was on a discount so I couldn't pass up such a good deal! 64 crayons to me is just enough to have a decent sized collection without having too many or too little. There's always something about Crayola's formula that makes coloring on pages the best. Other crayons couldn't ever compare and it's worth a little more to get quality. There's a built-in sharpener which is great for when you're in the middle of coloring and just need a quick sharpen. I have a better sharpener so this ends up being a backup one. I like how the crayons are packaged that they're not all on the same level and you can grab them quickly. I too, however, have the same complaints as others as these crayons tend to break pretty easily under pressure. Even when that happens I still try to use up as much as I can because these crayons are worth it! Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a nice crayon collection.

Still the best!
Several decades ago, my grammy, a seamstress, made me a red apron with individual skinny pockets for each one of my new "crowns." Now it's my turn. Gigi, that's me, doesn't sew, so Sarah, my granddaughter, just got the flip-top box of 64 crayons. It has a great sharpener, and the crayons either don't break as easily, or I was a bit rougher with them as a kid.
Another thing I appreciate now is the four separate boxes of varied crayons inside each large box, perfect for handing out at parties to individual kids. No more, "I need your red one," arguments!
The colors are still great. As a baby boomer, the first thing I looked for was burnt sienna, knowing there'd been a Boomer revolt when Crayola considered eliminating it. It's still there. I'm getting an adult coloring book tomorrow. Five generations later, they're still 'mauvelous!'

Who Doesn't Love Crayola Crayons.
Crayola Crayons have been a favorite of mine since I was a kid. The colors are brilliant and plentiful. I used them for my adult coloring books and love them. They are smoother than I remember as a kid. The sharpener on the box is very handy and the shavings are easily emptied from the bottom of the box so there are no messes.A very cool surprise is the Crayola website. There are tons of free projects that can be printed to keep the kids (or yourself) busy for hours.Crayola has made it easy to be creative whether you are young or old.
