on 2015-07-20 Very Useful, but Other Alternatives May Suit Your Purposes Better
I have suddenly found myself with lots of paper to organize, and ordered these tabs. These will do the job, especially if you're organizing month-related items (the numbers work for days of the month). However, I find the amount of space to write-in for a particular tab is small.
I am switching to Avery Double-Column Dividers, 32-Tab
, for two reasons. First, they give you a bit more space for writing on the tab header. Secondly, and ymmv, I prefer the color scheme of that set of tabs.
Also, the first page that serves as the directory of the tabs undergoes a lot of stress. It would be nicer if it were thicker and/or more reinforced, or if it came inside a page protector.
Note, if you don't need quite as many tabs, but still like the two column formation and color scheme, there is also Avery Two-Column 24 Dividers
And if you need even more tabs, consider Cardinal by TOPS 52-Tab, Numbered, Multi-Color (60990)

Excellent design, quality and appearance
I was impressed with the quality and attractiveness of these dividers.
First, the dividers are heavy card stock (about 150 lb). The tabs are mylar coated so that they will stand up to repeated fingering and referencing.
Second, the mylar tabs are very colorful and it is easy from the index page to find the documents you are looking for in their particular divider. This is particularly useful when you are trying to help people find documents, using the index, over the phone or during a presentation (i.e. "turn to document number 15 with the lime green tab").
Third, the first page of the index is 8 1/2 x 11. You can easily run it through a printer, or, make photocopies of it on a standard copy machine.
The colors are bright and arranged in the order of the spectrum.
The listing is not clear, and the photographs in this listing don't show it, but the tabs are numbered instead of lettered. This makes it easier to identify documents if your index contains more than 26.
I would have given this five stars except for Avery's template. It took a significant amount of time to locate the template on their website, fill out e-forms in order to get it mailed to us by email, and save it from the Avery email to our computers. The template itself is temperamental, and, doesn't give you full WYSIWYG. The template requires modification in order to use it in Microsoft word and be readable on the index sheet. The template is programmed to provide centered entries using only 10 pt type (which is barely readable on the index sheet). In addition, the template doesn't fully display the text and the line entries. We had to type the entries several times, adjust the line spacing, and modify the margins in order to get a professional looking index sheet. You can find the template on Avery's website by searching for the Avery form #: 600088 (which is printed on the lower right corner of the index page).
On the positive side, the template works with MS Word for either MAC or Windows.
Notwithstanding the expense for these, and the difficulties with the template, if you must make a professional multi-document presentation, these are the best, most attractive, and most professional indexes available.

If you like keeping your notebooks in order, the ready index is the right product for you. You just type the content to the corresponding number. It's that easy. The individual tabs are thick and sturdy. They don't rip easily. Additionally,
this Ready Index is for 31 tabs; however, you have your choice of 5 to 31 tabs. Furthermore, it's extremely easy to download the template. Just go to Avery.com and search the index number. The majority of templates are Word documents.
One downfall is that you only get one content sheet, so I recommend you make a few copies in case you make a mistake or you decide to change the content of the notebook or it's order.

I've always used plastic dividers in fear that anything else would rip. I needed a high numbered tab such as this because I have so many sections within my coupon binder.
Granted, I could have used two or three sets of the 10 count dividers, but I am extremely organized and like to have a clean visual of things. So I like how this was 1-31 with no break up in between and surprisingly this is holding up very well. No rips or tears. I would highly recommend for anyone that coupons!

New planning system!
This is the best index tab divider system I've ever purchased. It has 31 tabs, plenty for keeping up with everything I need! In the past, I've used a journal, a notebook, Google, Microsoft Office and more products to try to stay organized. It was simply too many things in too many places. Now, these tab organizers give me 31 sections in my binder for EVERYTHING I could possibly need. I have sections for dance class memos, Bible verses to memorize, my daily planning sheets, grocery lists, and more. Thirty-one tabs is a lot, but the color-coded index at the front corresponds to each individual tab/section, so it's quick and easy to find the info I need. Love my new planning system!

Online software for these print slightly off, but such a great product
I've bought hundreds of these for use in our office. They are simply great products! Easy to use, clearly labeled, the holes don't tear easily. One problem is that frequently my printed table of contents (using their online software) isn't accurate - i.e., the words don't match evenly with the boxes. Therefore, I print first on regular paper and move words around as needed so that they will fit properly in the actual colored table of contents page. I would love to see software improvements to fix this!

Great For Keeping Track Of 28-30 week Bible Study Lessons & Activity Pages
I use these in order to sort out lesson plans/activity pages for 28-30 week Bible studies. It's easy to keep everything in order and find the right week without a lot of random flipping. The tabs are durable enough to handle being pawed through frequently as new pages get added and things get shuffled around.

Great 1-31 tab dividers!
I couldn't find these in the stores where I live. My husband uses them at work (in a binder, of course) for his daily book. Each day of the month has a tab, so he puts his meeting agendas, upcoming projects, memos, etc. in the appropriate day. It keeps him very organized.
I've used Avery tabs for years, and they are all great.

I bought these off the recommendation of a fellow nursing student. I love these for my binders. They are heavy duty and easy to spot in my stacks of paper. I'm even able to use them for the next semester. Great investment!

I like how you can go online to type in the tabs and print it directly onto the table of contents. Make sure you do a test print though, because you only have 1 table of contents and you want it to print on the right side/direction!
