These markers dry quickly making it easy to make quick corrections
Expo dry erase markers write smoothly are long lasting. These markers dry quickly making it easy to make quick corrections.
The only con is that the low odor markers do not erase as cleanly as the regular markers if the writing is left on the board for awhile. The ghosting can be taken off with white board cleaner, but this adds to the cost of using older white boards,(which are in most teacher's classrooms). Most teachers have to pay for their own classroom supplies personally, a lot of small costs can add up quickly.

Great colors and a great set
My students love these markers. We use them on windows, walls, tables, basically any cleanable surface. The Expo brand in particular is especially nice for doing window art. There is enough drag on the felt to keep the marker from wiggling, but not so much that it staggers. Even with heavy pressure, the felt does not degrade. Once on the surface, the ink does not blend very well, so filling in large chunks of space can look less than solid. The tips can also get pretty dirty, especially if they run over black ink.
One extra tip. If you are looking for cheap and effective whiteboards, go to Home Depot and get the melamine coated shower board. There are 2 types, one with a premium feel and a cheaper thinner kind. The cheaper one (which costs around $15 for a huge 6x4 sheet) is the one you want. They will even cut it for you there, so you can make many smaller board out of one larger one (though you will need to tape up the edges),

Price is good, especially for the quantity
Price is good, especially for the quantity. I got 16 markers for $9.89.
They're very easy to smudge. Other brands, though still erasable, set better than these and don't smudge with a bump. For instance, a black U Brand marker came with the dry erase calendar I bought, and it set surprisingly well but was unexpectedly a little difficult to remove with the tiny erase pad that came glued to the tip of the cap.
Some of the fibers in these tips came a little loose (this was my first time using them) and have left little streaks of colors like hair being brushed over top.
The biggest con, for me, is that the colors are not true. You get two shades of green, one being a little more lime like and the other seemingly a holiday green. If you're looking for a nice rich green to make, say, a Christmas tree, the holiday/forest green color is not like that. It's actually a little more on the turquoise side, especially next to the blue marker. Same for the red. It's more of a reddish pink.
If you just need a cheap, colorful set, go ahead and get this. If you want something more precise, a little more durable, and with very true colors, consider looking elsewhere.

Best Dry Erase Markers
Let's face it, Expo makes the best dry erase markers out there. These are good fat markers, however, you can also get some what of a medium point on them. So, what I mean by that is this. You can draw big thick lines but you can also right hand writing and still be able to read it. Almost like a Sharpie, but maybe a little bit thicker.
Would I buy these again? Absolutely. These are the best. If you leave the caps on them and take care of them then you're not going to have any problems. This pack has a great selection of colors and you'd be hard-pressed to not find what you were looking for.

I am a college student and when studying chemistry or biology, it is really helpful to have a board to use. I decided to purchase these markers because of the huge color variety! It doesn't stain my board so far, I've been using them for around a week or so. I think the important detail is to wipe the board as soon as you can, I tried to use a paper towel and it left way too much residue. I would suggest using an eraser or in my case, I used tissues which worked perfectly!
I would suggest this to any students who need the space to write out things or remember things but don't want to waste paper over and over again!

The best dry erase markers.
As a teacher I have used many different kinds of dry erase markers. I usually use whatever I can get cheap, but Expo markers are always far superior to any other brand. I bought these when they were about 50% off for back to school and I love them. I love the colors that come in the pack and my students love using them. The best part is that unlike other markers, these ones actually erase without using any type of spray and they don't stain my cheap dry erase board!

These dry erase markers were exactly what I was looking for! Every marker worked great with good color on our white dry erase board art easel. Excellent variety of colors in the pack although it doesn't have yellow which my kids noticed pretty quick. I bought two packs because it was such a good deal. A little advice about these is to always replace the cap as soon as possible...my kids left the caps off and they dried out quickly and stopped working as expected. Lesson learned and now I'm off to buy more : )

The quality of expo has never been in question. I appreciated the excess colors and the fact that I could get so many for a low price with free prime shipping. Especially wonderful when you need to buy in bulk. Bought several packs of these to go into our welcome back teacher favor bags for our pta luncheon. I needed to make about 32. Also got the little apple white board erasers and skinny expo markers on 2DayDeliver.

I didn't notice how much other dry erase markers smelled ...
I didn't notice how much other dry erase markers smelled until I purchased these markers. I was already used to the ink smell, but these markers don't smell at all. My school provides a different brand of dry erase markers that are refillable, that ink has a very distinct smell. I prefer Expo because they last longer than the refillable ones, I've been using these for about two weeks and they are still as bright.

Nice colors, good price. Markers dried out quickly?
I have never used any dry erase markers other than Expo brand, so I don't have much to compare to. The colors in this set are nice (I like the variety) and it is fun to use non-standard colors, however.
I'm giving four stars because these markers (especially the more interesting colors) seemed to dry out rather quickly. I think that sometimes that caps would get a little bit loose after a couple uses and not seal properly. Whatever the reason, on several occasions, a barely used marker that was working fine one day would be completely dry the next (and I never left any of the caps off).
In any case, it is much cheaper to buy these here rather than in-store. Thus, despite any problems with the markers drying out, I still think that this pack represents good value.
