Such a fun little product!
Such a fun little product! There are lots of ways to use this hand exerciser whether you choose to just toss it around between your hands at the office, or you want to increase the strength of your hands and wrists. There are several colors to choose from depending on your strength preference. It also provides calming relief when you heat or cool it!

My husband had a large laceration on his hand and was unable to move his fingers properly after the stitches were removed. I bought this for him to help with his mobility and it has increased dramatically. It also helps to relieve the pain in his hand as well.

Each squeeze = immediate feedback
You'll never believe how well this ball works the hand, wrist and arm muscles. I felt how much they'd been exercised after the first minute I started squeezing. Easy to do while watching tv, sitting on the porch or talking on the phone.

Nice quality and perfect size for my child's smaller hand
Nice quality and perfect size for my child's smaller hand. It functions well for my child who has weak fine motors. The only down size is the dirt easily sticks to the ball. The manufacturer didn't provide with instructions on how to clean it. If it gets wet, it looses the smoothness. I had to cover the ball with flour so it won't feel sticky

Worth having even if you have normal rubber balls
This is different than a standard issue rubber ball. This deforms and re-expands at a reduced rate. Probably more useful. However as the describtion says, the material is slightly sticky, and you will have to re-apply some power after it came into contact with water.

Excellent product! I bought it for myself
Excellent product! I bought it for myself, for I felt that my hands were weaker than before, without any specialist consultation, for it is so obvious that the ball has potential to be helpful. In a month, with everyday exercising, I could feel more strength in my hands. After about three months I really felt my hands stronger, and it started being easier to open jars, etc. One can do all sorts of exercises, if in doubt what, how and how much/long, then look for some on youtube or ask a therapist. Just do not overdo it at the beginning. I have already bought a green ball, slightly harder, and keep using this one, too. I am very satisfied with this ball.

Great product, just what we needed
I bought this for my three year old son with arthritis and it really helps to keep his flare ups down. He squeezes his hand around the ball a few times a day, about 10 reps each time. The ball is big for his hand, but still works. Great product, just what we needed!

on 2007-07-03 Squishy good exerciser
I love these Theraband exercisers, which my hand therapist introduced me to. I've collected some of the toys I used in therapy to use at home. TheraBalls are small, comfortable, inexpensive and effective.
They are great to use as "worry beads" but have had a fantastic effect on strengthening my poor injured and arthritic thumb.
I left on behind after a visit, and the hostess didn't tell me, because she loved using it herself.
Be sure to start with the incredibly squishy yellow one first and work your way up.
Another great product to use with this is TheraPutty. Thera-Flex Therapy Putty - 6 oz - Yellow - Soft Resistance
