Larger size is cheaper than the small bottles. Great product!
This larger size bottle is cheaper than buying those smaller 6 pack bottles. Briggs is a good brand with a quality reputation so I'm very confident using this oil. Some of their stuff is higher priced but I found this size to be more cost efficient. Prices fluctuate so I don't know what this might be in the future but I grab a good deal when I see one. Changing lawn mower oil after so many hours or when it is dirty on the dipstick is always a good way to extend the life of your mower.....which most people don't do. Check your manual for info. If you lost your manual most makers have a copy for download on their website.

So far so good
Nothing more sexy than motor oil said no one ever. It's just oil but I bought it for my 2,000 watt Wen Generator Inverter. The manual states to use straight SAE 30 weight 4 cycle oil. I believe this must be the best oil for it, even though the generator forums suggest using synthetic oil or 10W-30 or 10W-40 oil. Everybody has an opinion but I'm going with the recommendations as stated in the generator manual.... SAE 30 4 cycle oil!

Good quality oil
I purchased this product in order to perform oil changes on small engines. I do a lot of small engine repair and am always changing the oil on them. This container was enough to do a couple oil changes and stores well. From what I can tell it is quality oil from a known and trusted brand. I would highly recommend this product to anyone utilizing a small engine that requires SAE 30.

Great buy and bargain! This was the cheapest price for this oil! Definitely recommend for anyone that needs to do a oil change on a small engine. Don't trust the cheap knockoff products that are sold on other sites! Excellent product!

Good brand, same oil came with my lawnmower
Good brand, same oil came with my lawnmower. Cost is less than my local Lowes. Why drive there to pick up just one item.

Needed OIL so my husband doesn't blow up the new lawnmower
Bought a brand new lawnmower, and didn't want hubs to blow this one up too because he forgot to put oil in it. Basically, this is my wife way of telling him he needs to take care of what we purchase to keep our home beautiful :D !!! I found that this oil is perfect as the engine is a B&S engine, so for our new mower it is perfect. The product is just as described.

Great small engine oil.
Great oil. I would assume its Ashland oil.... which is the most common refined oil base on the market and sold under many other famous brands names after it is blended to each one's specific formula. Correct amount for many larger lawn tractor engines.... always consult your engine's manual to refill with the proper amount required. Oil meets all current specs, but again check your manual that's what they are for.

Purrs like a kitten.
I like using alike brands for my equipment. Cost a bit more but takes away the stress for my lack of mechanical know how. Chipper, mowers, tillers, chainsaws, weed eaters run great on there own brands.

I felt better buying OEM oil for my B/S motor on an Xmark Quest. The only thing I didn't like is there isn't quite enough oil to fill the crankcase. I had to mix in some Castrol 30w. I don't think it will affect anything, but not happy I had to do it!

standard replacement item
Briggs continues to live up to their reputation of American Made quality and consistency amongst their line of products. Sure it is not necessary to use their oil just because I own a Briggs engine but when the price is right on a quality item I buy it! I use this oil in my leaf blower and in my lawn mower. I would use a different oil in my generator and snow blower because those machines run in cold weather. Enjoy!
