Most Accurate Scale You Will Find At This Price & It's Portable!
I have purchased several scales over the years at varying price points. The story was always the same. Get on, get off, get on again and the reading was never exactly the same. I don't have room for a full blown medical scale so I was beginning to get discouraged. I went to get a physical last year and the doctor's office had a larger Health o Meter for professional use. So I started doing research and bought this model.
Now I get on, get off, get on again and the weight is exactly the same every time down to one tenth of a pound. I love this scale. It is super accurate and it is small enough to slide under my bed when I am not using it. Not to mention the price is a really good value when you factor in the quality. Other scales with this accuracy start around $400 and are much larger and harder to store.

The most consistent scale I've ever owned; worth every penny
So today the "Health o meter" I ordered on 2DayDeliver arrived, and let me tell you, this thing is such a pleasure.
Previously, I'd been stepping on a Weight Watchers brand digital bathroom scale, and that thing was super frustrating, because, first of all, it yielded very different readings from the scales at actual Weight Watchers meetings.
But, even worse, every time I stepped on the thing, it gave me a different reading. I could step on it five times in two minutes and get five different readings on my weight.
Very frustrating when you're trying to determine whether you lost or gained a few tenths of a pound and your scale can't even decide if your weight went up or down.
This new scale? I am so in love with it. I get on and it just tells me my weight. I get off, jump back on, and it tells me the same weight. I can jump on and off ten times and I'll get ten identical readings.
Expensive digital medical scale, I love you.

I love this scale!
This is the best scale I have owned. I generally do not trust digital scales, but this scale always gives consistent readings (I can step off and back on and get the same reading every single time). It is very well built and the thin padding on top feels solid and great to step on. There is also the option to display weight in lbs. or kg, and during all the years of use I've only had to zero out the scale once or twice.
I've owned this scale for years and still have not needed to change the battery. I do anticipate some issues changing the battery when it does die as it seems difficult to remove the battery from the hard "old school" plastic casing. Alternatively the scale can be plugged in via power adapter if I can't immediately switch the battery.
I look forward to using this scale for a long time to come, and it feels great to have a scale at home that trumps those antiquated physician's scales at the doctor's office!

Accurate, sensitive, reproducible professional scale. Get it if you are serious about accurate weights.
Skip the cruddy cheap scales that are not as sensitive, accurate and reproducible as this professional scale. I tested this scale with both known weights & while standing on scale holding varying amounts of water in a large measuring cup. The scale can reliably detect changes of 100 ml of water = 100 gm. This sensitivity & reproducibility is significantly better than the other cheap but highly rated digital bathroom scales sold on 2DayDeliver. Test your own scale. Get a 4 cup/32 oz measuring cup which also has ml on it. Stand on your scale, and see how it changes with varying levels of water from 4 cups to 100 ml, etc.

ONLY Works with A/C Adapter - Not with Batteries - Accurate So Far
Mine only works using the A/C adapter. I purchased this scale and the A/C adapter, separately I set it up using the batteries. It didn't work, the screen just flicked on quickly then would die. I was disappointed, and checked the voltage of the batteries, their install + and - to make sure everything was OK. No luck...double then triple checked...each battery was 1.632 volts dc. Perfect.
THEN, I thought I'd try the A/C adapter, and BAM, it works! And after weighing myself 3x, it was the exact same, to a tenth, each time.
SO, if yours doesn't work, borrow someones A/C adapter and give it a shot.
It's only been one day, but so far OK. Glad I bought the A/C power adapter!

SIMPLE...JUST BUY IT!! TOTALLY AWESOME.
EASY!! JUST BUY THIS!! I have had this scale purchased from 2DayDeliver for over 3 years. It is absolutely AWESOME. If you weigh yourself and it says 185.5, then step off and get back on, you always get the same exact reading. I have never had a scale that would do this. The battery life is a minimum of 6 months. I have had one last almost a year. It is a quality build and nothing cheap about it. It has automatic shutoff after a minute or so to save your battery. The display cord is very generous in length. Display easy to read. It truly is one of the best purchases I ever made and I am 110% happy with it. It also is a well respected brand name that you can trust. Any questions, just message me.

Reliable and sturdy; corresponds closely to my physician's scale
This unit is very reliable; I tested it by stepping on and off multiple times and each time it gave the same reading; I also shifted foot positions slightly and until I moved one foot almost to the edge, I kept getting the same reading. I didn't mount the display but put it resting on a shelf to the left and it is easily visible and stable. I used to use a higher end (and almost as expensive) bathroom type scale which varied each time I stepped on it, and whose display required me to look down to read it. That scale varied from 1 to 3 pounds from the physician's scale, within an hour. This scale was within half a pound (well, 0.4 pounds; it measures only in even increments) of my physician's scale every time. The base is heavy and sturdy.

This is the best scale I've ever owned. I get very accurate results that correspond to the results I get from my doctors office. True, when I move around on the scale, the ounces vary a little and go up and down. When I settle down, it displays almost the same number each time varying only by a an ounce or two. I do this a few times to get the number that appears most. But I don't know if there is a digital scale out there that doesn't do that. Also, when I purchased this scale almost 2 years ago, I read a review that recommended buying a plug in AC adapter because the batteries need constant replacing. I listened to that advice and bought the AC adapter, but wish I hadn't wasted the money. I still have the first batteries I put in the scale and haven't had to replace them once since Sept, 2012. I don't know if this a miracle or what. lol But I do turn the scale off each time I use it which is every morning. All in all, I'm very pleased with this scale. Much better than the dial scales I used to have.
Update (November 2016): It's been over 4 years now that I've used this scale and still have the same original batteries I first put in. I think it is a miracle! Like I mentioned, I always shut it off after weighing, which is only once a day.
Update (August 26, 2017): I just today had to replace the batteries since purchasing in Sept 2012. That's five years!

Great weight scale!
I really like this weight scale. It's easy to use and seems accurate. It even works fine on carpet, though it may seem a little unstable on it's base when you stand on it, but it works just fine without weird fluctuations. This can read weight up to 400 lbs in KG or LBS. I like how the wall mount bracket can be set on top of a table or counter or screwed to a wall at reading height. I personally have it sitting on top of my counter in the bathroom at the back of the counter top with the cord hanging between sink and the toilet where it has an opening. The head unit (readout part) takes a 9-volt battery and is very light, seems too light to be honest. It easily flies off of the counter if you bump it since the coiled cord kind of pulls on it a little. So that's why I have it at the back of the counter so that I would stop bumping it and it flying and hitting the hard tile.
I did find out through the customer service department (of the Scale manufacturer) that the 'head' unit is calibrated to the specific scale platform and you can't just buy a new head unit without sending your scale to them for one to be calibrated to it. So be very careful with it.
This measures in 2 ounce increments. Though it is written out as like 140.2 lbs and not 140 lbs 2 oz so I really hesitate to say that it's 140 and 2 ounces since it's a decimal and that would be 2/10 of a pound which is one one ounce. One ounce is 1/16 of a pound. So I'm more inclined to say I weigh 140.2 pounds as an example.
These types of scales (with a separate readout head that can be screwed into the wall at eye level) are great for those of us who are quite large and can't see their feet easily. That's the main reason I was shopping for one of these scales and I'm glad I chose this one. It was cheaper than the alternatives and seemed like it was quality. It is quality. I am happy with it.

Most accurate home scale at a great price
I wish I found this scale before I wasted money on multiple $40 scales that I ended up throwing out or donating to Goodwill. You can step on this scale 4 or 5 times and get the same reading each time. It doesn't take up much space. You don't need to mount the reader. I just have it next to my bed and the reader sits on my night stand. I do have hardwood floors and this scale should be on a non-carpeted surface. It is well worth the money. I first discovered this scale while attending Weight Watcher meetings. So if you are on a diet/exercise plan and want to accurately track your weight, this is the scale you need. Spend the money, it is worth it to stay motivated and know your accurate weight.

and am glad I did
I am a registered dietitian and I have used this scale in the past (owned by a colleague of mine) and decided to purchase the same one when I went to a different practice, and am glad I did. I thought I could afford to use a less expensive one from Bed Bath and Beyond and was very regretful of that. This scale is user friendly and perfect for taking blind weights for my clients with eating disorders who wish not to see their own weights. I find it to be consistent and highly accurate. I bought a heavy tile to go under it since my office is carpeted. Although they recommend to use it only on flat floors, I find the weight to be exactly the same when placed on carpet and when placed on a heavy tile! I would definitely recommend this for both personal and professional use!

I use this to keep track of my weight and ...
I use this to keep track of my weight and it's very accurate. It'll track the smallest fluctuations in your weight from day to day.
Update on July 10th, 2016. I've been using this scale ever since July 31th, 2015. It still works just fine and I recently used it for a powerlifting competition. My weight the morning of the meet was exactly the same as the competition scale.

Price vs Value: Great scale but too expensive: shed some dollars
Incredibly accurate and reliable scale. However, it is on the expensive side especially with present day competition. Since coming on the market in 2009 this scale has fluctuated between $120-$200. I purchased it for $150 which is a fair purchase but would not pay that much again. It's a fair purchase at $120 but over that is too much for what this scale is. Anything under $120 is a good deal but it has yet to drop that low.

Great Scale but Cannot Tolerate Damp Conditions
First unit failed, but vendor replaced it and paid shipping. This is a nice scale, but apparently you cannot use it in a bathroom. My failed unit was blamed on moisture. I said I was using it in a sometimes steamy bathroom and the supplier said you cannot do that. Now my new "bathroom" scale is located in the basement.

ANOTHER GREAT REASON TO BUY... My scale works perfectly when the platform is placed on my medium pile carpet! This was discovered accidentally when I moved it from a hardwood floor to my bedroom. My friend weighed himself. I was shocked to find out that his weight was exactly the same when on the carpet as it was on the hard surface. A few more trials showed the same identical results. Could not be better. Perfect. Aaccurate weight every time. Worth the price!

After having mutliple scales, including digital scales from Escali and physician scales from Detecto for which I have posted negative reviews on 2DayDeliver, I have found these scales to be exceptional. After having them for close to a year and half, I can still set a pair of 30 pound dumbbells on them, and at least 95% of the time, they will read 58.6 pounds (I assume that it's the dumbbells that are slightly off weight). Occasionally, the scales may read 58.4 pounds. In other words, they are highly precise, since they produce the same result when weighing a known quantity.
Additionally, I have even weighed my miniature pinscher on the scales several times before going to the vet, and each time have found the readings to be within a quarter-pound of the vet's scales. Therefore, they are highly accurate as well.
The battery life is at least as long as the battery life of other lithium powered scales that I've owned, and when it needs to be replaced, I am far more likely to have an extra 9-volt in the battery drawer than a CR-2016, 2025, or 2032. These are truly outstanding scales. I highly recommend them to anyone wanting something with more accuracy and precision than the standard $30 scales sold in discount and department stores.

Best scale short of mechanical
I have been fighting the cheap scales for years getting inconsistent weights and failures to the point i quit buying. Back on a nutrition and fitness regime I wanted a scale. Saw this one and decided that you get what you pay for. I did! Great scale, consistent and repeatable weight. Tare value for weighing with a certain amount of clothes on or remove tare to weigh naked. I love remote readout and have a discrete place in the bathroom where I velcro the readout to the wall. You can un-plug the cable and store the platform and keep the floor clear. Most I've paid for a scale, but so far I could not be more satisfied.

I like that there is no obstructions on the platform
Very consistent measurements. I can get on the platform and take a reading, then get off and get on again, Always returns to the same reading. I haven't checked the accuracy with known weights because I am mostly concerned with trending directions. I like that there is no obstructions on the platform. this enables weighing oversize packages without resorting to shim spacers.

Accurate and Sensitive to Weight Loss or Gain
I've owned many bathroom scales in recent years, searching for a scale that reads your weight reproducibly (many scales do that) but also accurately shows weight changes from day to day. This scale accurately and reproducibly detects changes in weight as little as 0.2 lb. If I hold a 1 lb weight, the scale shows an increase in my body weight of 1.0 lb. All of my previous scales including Weight Watchers and Taylor scales either would record no change in weight or require that I hold at lease a 2 or 3 lb weight to record any change. The 349KLX also measures a weight as low as 0.2 lb so you can use it to weigh items for your suitcase.
A few minor points. The scale is not readable to 2 oz as the ad claims; a 0.2 lb readout corresponds to 3 oz. Also the scale auto shuts off after 2 minutes not 30 s as the ad states. Note that if you shift your weight on your feet, for example from the ball to the heel of your foot, the scale will give you a slightly different weight, about 0.2 lb difference, so you need to stand on the scale exactly the same way each time.
The digital readout unit can be wall mounted or set on a surface. A weighted holder/bracket is provided. We put our readout unit on the toilet tank.
This is an excellent scale which hopefully will last a long time. I wish I had purchased it a long time ago rather than wasting money on scales selling for under $50.

on 2012-04-17 It is so easy to use
It is much easier to use than trying to see the small dial of a regular scale. I put the readout at eye level and that works perfectly for me. It is also very accurate. I weigh in just before going to the Dr. and he also has a HealthOMeter scale (only in the professional version), and both weigh ins are the same. I just love it.HealthOMeter 349KLX Digital Medical Scale
