used in a Weber Spirit E-310
Easy fix for a leaking regulator.
I have a vintage, at least 10 years old Weber E-310 grill that I've used every year and taken pride in it's maintenance.
This is the second time I had to replace the regulator...the first time due to me over-tightening the nut that attaches to the propane tank-rookie mistake. This time, the place where the hose attaches to the regulator failed.
East fix...you just need an adjustable wrench.
See pictures of the grill and the regulator.

Well, just like many other stated their original part lasted for many many years. 15 years for ours, the replacement lasted almost exactly 2 years, I find this to be unacceptable. Well, off to buy another one. Cheap stuff from China. So I bought a 2nd one, and now 30 days have passed and I can no longer return it to 2DayDeliver although it does not work. . In the meantime, I replaced the burners and the crossover pipe and anything else I could think of, and the brand new regular is just a faulty as the last one. 2 days past when I could return to amazon. I am so disgusted, now have to go out and buy another locally.

Exact Weber Replacement for Older Silver-B
Had grill where tank would not empty all the way and burner flame was weak and unstable. Installed on an old Silver-B from the 90s with no problem. Exact match. Hose was same length. Had no problems connecting using TWO wrenches and just a 1/4 turn more after finger-tightening. Place the two wrenches 90 degrees apart and then bring them together to get that extra 1/4 turn. Do not try tightening without the second wrench to hold the connection at the burner assembly stable. Yes, every part of this assembly is now made in China, hose and regulator. Not sure there's much you can do about that. Working fine for over a month and no smell of propane.

This product is so bad it's dangerous
I'm a huge Weber fan, but this product is not up to the Weber name. I installed it and the link between the tank and the regulator leaked badly. Really badly. It hissed, blew soap bubbles, and allowed a lot of propane to escape. I tried undoing it and tightening it back up several times. Always with the same result. This product is dangerous. Come on, Weber! Junk.

Worked Flawlessly - Sometimes workarounds don't work
My BBQ had been on a slow decline for a long time. Winter seemed to be worse and sometimes swapping the propane bottle for the spare that had been in the garage (ie a bit warmer) would often do the trick. This method stopped working and if the BBQ would light up at all it would be with super low blue flames.
I had been trying to fix my BBQ for a while using various tips and tricks found across the internet. None worked. I even cleaned off the 'bug screens' that lead to the burners. Again, nothing worked. Before going to the extent of taking the burners out and cleaning them I figured the cost of this ($25) was worth it to me.
Installation is about as easy as can be. A couple of wrenches to work the small fitting and then connecting the tank side like normal and my grill lit up like it was brand new. I'll even admit that I skipped the soapy water leak test (I know, bad me).

Fixed the issue I was having on my Weber Spirit ...
Fixed the issue I was having on my Weber Spirit 310 grill, where I would get a really low blue flame on both burners, even after attempting the "regulator reset". Once I installed this new regulator (and checked for leaks with soapy water), the grill fired right up at full flame. My grill is about 10 years old or so, and needs some maintenance at this point.

Exact replacement for my Weber Spirit grill. Why the old one failed after 3 years I don't know. But this was easy to install and worked immediately. The bad on would allow some gas flow, but the grill wouldn't get any hotter than about 200 F.

My old regulator went after 12 years or so. This one installed easy and works with no problems or leaks. I avoided the QC issues in other reviews. I have a circa 2003 Genesis Silver B and got the shorter one. I actually think this one works "better" than my failing one even before it quit. I'm getting more heat for the grill setting. Probably more what I would expect, but I'm having to adjust to get it right. Not a problem for short cook times, but for like a port loin it's taking some experimentation.

Works great for my Weber grill
Works great for my Weber grill. It fixed the problem that I was having (the flame would sometimes light, then go out). I was happy that this fixed the problem and I didn't need a new grill.

The original regulator on my Spirit E-310 worked well for ...
*** Retraction of 1-star review***
The leak was caused by a bad gasket in the propane tank I was using, not this regulator. (I was wrongly convinced the problem was the regulator because it leaked with my backup tank, too. Turns out backup tank had a worse gasket.) I would add here that Weber replaced the regulator for me when I insisted it was bad. Now I'll be apologizing to them.
