Amazed at the Difference it Made
I have a roof-mount HD antenna pointed at our nearest tower 33 miles away. I just used the house cabling and splitter that DirecTV had left. The antenna was great for a while, but we started getting pixelated channels and others that were too weak to display. We're hosting a Super Bowl party Sunday and I couldn't chance the channel not coming in with 15 impatient viewers.
I installed the Channel Master amplifier outside our house where the old splitter was. The housing is nice and weatherproofed. I purchased a longer 25' coax cable to power the unit so that it would reach an outlet on the outside of our house; I plan to permanently power it via an outlet in the crawlspace though.
Immediately after connecting everything up, all of our weak and pixelated channels came in clearly! I'm amazed at how such a simple fix resolved all of our issues with weak signal and poor-quality splitters. I'd highly recommend it to anyone looking to overcome degraded signal due to splitters or too many TVs hooked up to the splitter.

Helped a lot at a good price - Channel Master CM 3412
Channel Master CM 3412
This splitter/amplifier has made a huge difference in our OTA reception. The box contained the signal amp/splitter, an AC converter for power, a 6' RF cable to go from the AC converter to the unit and instructions.
We got a new TV and were having some trouble with weak signals and pixellation, which was variable. The signal seemed to be affected by the many trees we have around the house and there is an approximately 60 foot run of coax cable from the roof antenna to the TV location.
As soon as this was plugged in (a 3-4 minute process) the improvement was apparent immediately. Although we are not 100% problem-free, I’d say there was a 90% improvement in signal strength, and clarity of the picture.
Occasionally, especially at night or in bad weather, there are intermittent problems when large vehicles go by on the road; and we are about 10 miles from an airport so I think we may be getting some interference from planes taking off and approaching. I don't think there is much I can do about that. (Never had a problem with analog TV though!) But most of the time watching is a pleasure.
I would definitely recommend this item, it’s a real bargain problem solver at the price. See picture for what's in the box.

Recently decided to cut the cable cord. Installed an HD antenna on the roof and ran a line into my house. Some stations would lose reception at times and some other stations would not come in very strong so I knew I needed a booster. I have 7 TV's and had a few different splitters down in my basement. There was no question I needed a booster to increase the signal strength. I originally planned on just getting a booster that would connect one or two cable connections and then use splitters from there but when I saw this, I had to purchase it. Made life so much easier having one cable splitter.
This product worked perfectly! I suddenly received more stations on my TV's and the signal strength of each one is great. No more freeze. Great to have just one cable connection for all my TV's. Very happy with it so far.

After purchasing this item I learned that Channel Master will not guarantee that this product will work with other antenna brands other than their own. Also, Channel Master's tech support was snotty and wholly unhelpful. With that said, I am returning this item and purchasing another brand of digital tv signal amplifier.

Reasonable functionality for the price.
I can see a difference on several channels, but it doesn’t have enough amplification to improve the really bad local channels here in Cuenca, EC. I am also using it at the end of an apartment distribution system which really is a difficult situation for any amplifier. I think that it is giving me good functionality for the price and I would buy it again.

Jury is still out on this. At first it seemed to help my digital reception a bit......but now that a few weeks have passed, I'm not so sure it's a permanent fix since my signal is getting broken up again on some channels that I thought this had cured.
I guess we'll wait and see for a few more weeks.

This Product Allowed Me to Cancel Our Cable
I was getting a good antenna signal from the antenna straight to one TV. The problem was that I would lose over half the channels when splitting the coax to run to the other 4 TVs. Once I put the Channel Master in place of the splitter, I was receiving all channels at each TV. Time will tell how the product holds up, but as of right now, I am very satisfied with this purchase!

3410 worked great but 3412 didn't
I've had a problem getting in a VHF channel, trying different kinds of preamps, distribution amps and antennas and putting antennas in different places. I presently have the best antenna I've ever had (Antenna Direct Clearstream 2) with an RCA preamp mounted outside high and still couldn't get the channel in consistently. I installed the Channel Master 3210 down the cable line about 20' and now get the channel all the time. But when I tried to use CM3212 as a booster/splitter it not only didn't bring in other weak channels I got sporadically but made them disappear completely and a better passive splitter worked much better with just the CM3210.

This item ensure the pixels from over the air signals were reduced if not eliminated. Some HD Channels looked a lot better. It's a quality product and is used on my single main TV with a modem and antenna connected so I cannot use the one used in my attic for the entire house. I highly recommend.

Channel Master CM-3410 1-Port... Channel Master
This is the amplifier I used in conjunction with the 3-way splitter/combiner to combine 3 over-the-air indoor TV antennas & pull in 32 channels. (On some days, I get even more when the weather is just right- a 4th tower will kick in 4 more.) Who needs cable?!
