Trying to learn to hold a pencil correctly.
I bought these grips because I'm still trying to work on how I hold my pencil correctly so it doesn't hurt my fingers. The grips are really comfortable and easy to hold. It's soft and the shape naturally contours to your fingers. They even come with a pamphlet with pictures on how to correctly hold a pencil. My handwriting is still messy and I have yet to completely change the way I write but the grips have given me a good start.

Practice makes perfect.
My son is now ten he started using this product at age nine his cursive writing is improving. I think by the age of eleven he will be on par with the rest of his peers. His fifth grade teacher is giving him extra lessons in cursive writing after school. Alex says: Practice makes perfect, and I gave Landen one of the gripes and he really likes it. Helping little fingers write easier...that's all I ask. So far, so good.
We are using these to help with my southpaw son who is refusing to write with anything but his right hand, because that's how the rest of us in the family write. They make the grip more agreeable and I am hoping over time he will gain an ease with the muscle memory to ease up on the pressure he puts on the pencil.

more comfortable than the triangular pencil grips
It is ok, more comfortable than the triangular pencil grips. It took me a short time to adjust it on the pen, so it worked for me. The shape is a bit odd, but the instructions explain which surface your thumb is supposed to rest against. I was getting cramps in my hand from holding the pen too tightly, and this adjusted my grip so I am no longer having problems. (I took it off for a few days, and then verified my hand felt better with the grip than without, so it is back on the pen.)

Well worth the money
Comfortable, easy to use and helps to find the pencil in the mess of papers. Because the pencil grips come in assorted colors, they could also be good to identify pencils, whether you want to claim yours ("Don't touch my pencil!") or mark the different types, especially for an artist who uses different leads.

Great For Artists Or Anyone Else Who Uses Pencil Crayons
I love to use pencil crayons in my art, but I was getting numbness in my fingers because of holding the pencils for so long and so much. I first thoight that I might have developed a pinched nerve in my back but it finally occured to e while I was working on something that the numbness was in the exact place that I held my pencil crayons. This has solved the problem completely.

Great for long periods of writing and taking notes
So happy with these. I do a lot of writing, and it puts a lot of stress on my middle/ring finger. These are very squishy and put your fingers in the exact right place so that you have a good grip on the pencil/pen. They are of pretty good quality and are good for righties and lefties. Will definitely be using these a lot as I get through the school year. I'm glad I chose these pencil grips over some of the other ones 2DayDeliver offers. My fingers are much happier now :)

My son's Occupational therapist recommended these for his poor fine motor skills and helping him remember how to hold the pencil. He loves them and says they are comfortable for his fingers. He handwriting does look better when using his grippers. We are stalked up on these and will absolutely buy again when needed!

Great aid for writing if your hands cramp up
My son is trying these out to help him with dysgraphia. So far he REALLY likes them and I am hopefully it will ease his hand pain when he writes. He tends to hold the pencil too tightly and press too hard even with an appropriate hold of the pencil (his fingers were in the right place). Took a bit of practice to get them on correctly, definitely read the directions that come with them for the right placement.

Tried and true pencil grips
I use these consistently with children who cannot form or sustain a tripod grasp (after trying other techniques). The Pencil Grip is easy to use....on each grip, an 'R' and 'L' are printed on the sides. The thumb of the writing hand goes on the side the letter is printed on. So, if you're a righty, your thumb would go under the 'R.' They get a bit gummy after sustained use, as the oils from the fingers will wear down the material. But one grip should last an academic year.
Keep in mind The Pencil Grip makes standard and jumbo versions. I usually go with the standard for school-aged kids. Jumbo may be good for kids with high tone restrictions, or perhaps the elderly with severe arthritis.
