Make what you will of the other reviews, but please keep in mind that this is not multipurpose paper per se -- it is typing paper.
I think it's about 16 lbs.
If you own and use a typewriter, then buy this paper!
Don't suffer anymore typing on paper intended for copiers and printers.

Perfect for my typewriter!
This paper is perfect for my typewriter. It is exactly what I expected for being typing paper.
If you're looking for printer paper, go buy printer paper... If you looking for lightweight typing paper, this is what you need!

typing paper and nothing more
This is typing paper just like the typing paper they sold ten, twenty, thirty years ago - it is thin. It is not multi purpose printing paper. If that's what you want, buy a good 20 lb multi purpose paper. This product is what it claims to be, nothing else.

NOT Designed for Computer Printers!
This is NOT for printers. This paper is designed for typewriters. It is thin, so if you your platen has old, hardened rubber, you may want to put construction paper behind the sheet of paper to absorb some of the hit. Hard rubber can damage the key font over time, so it is always a good idea to have a soft, thick paper behind the page.

Thin gauge, light weight paper - not for everybody, but...
I needed typing paper that I could paste into a spiral bound notebook daily and not make the notebook one big fat mound. This paper did the job because it is the thinnest I have found. Being a Prime member, I got free shipping (I know, not really "free;" but it feels like free), which made the deal affordable. How thin is it? If I used the 20 lb. standard office paper I bought from Staples, my notebook would easily be twice as thick. Are you looking for a sturdy, average gauge paper like the 20 lb. weight? If so, this product is not for you. If you require a thin sheet, consider buying this one.

This is what paper use to be, alive, crinkly, and wonderful for the typewriter and how it takes a great typing impression. Oh, you wanted that sterile, dead, computer paper that feels like plaster board? Too bad. This paper feels like paper, it's what paper's supposed to be.

and it works fine. Doesn't rip or tear
The paper was much thinner than I had anticipated. I am using it with a typewriter, and it works fine. Doesn't rip or tear. Just really thin.

I needed typing paper but unfortunately didn't read the reviews on this paper; my decision was price driven. However, I prefer a heavier paper as most things I'm printing will be put into a file somewhere. Next time, I will order a heavier paper.
