I love this. My daughter is not a fan of ...
I love this. My daughter is not a fan of "Tummy Time," at all, but this mirror helped her a LOT! As for the parents saying it isn't a true reflection... of course it's not; it is not a REAL mirror, it's BABY SaFe and it is awesome! I submitted a photo of my baby and our reflection so you can see that it is a very good mirror. It does fall down easy when the babies hit it, but it weighs almost nothing and doesn't break. The toys are adorable and they move and are interactive! Love it!

The baby loves it!
My 6 month old loves the mirror but word of advice for parents of sensitive skinned little one's, the product has some kind of substance on the fabric that can be irritative.
My 6 month old has severe eczema and he had a horrible break out immediately when I gave this to him. I had to wash it in the sink with his detergent and let it dry really well before he could play with it. The water appeared dirty after washing it off too (same day as I received it).
So, make sure if they have sensitive skin you wash this first by hand. Do not use a washing machine or the mirror will be ruined.
The mirror is very clear but it does have a slight distortion. I doubt a baby would notice but as an adult, I can definitely see the distorted focus. It also doesn't stay up very well, but then again a baby will knock it down no matter what - so there's always that.
Other than that, he loves the mirror. So I love it too!

My kid loves himself.
While trying to calm my fussy boy down one evening, we swayed past the mirror and suddenly the golden sound of silence enveloped the room. Too young to be left unsupervised in front of the full length, and unable to sit, I grabbed the extra car mirror out of his closet and set it on the floor the next day. He was amused, but grew bored quickly. This mirror came up first on the search, so I went for it. It's perfect. It does topple over, but that only encourages him to try and pick it back up. He does get aggravated when trying to remove the attached insects, but he has enough toys and hands to stick in his mouth. The material is perfect as it doesn't hurt him when he slams the mirror against his head in an attempt to suck on the ladybug. The 30 minute babble with his reflection is worth a million more purchases.

Not what the picture shows
In the picture the item looks like it’s wedge shaped so it can stand on its own. The product I received is completely flat and has to be leaned into something for it to stand in its own. The whole reason I bought this was for it to sit on the floor next to my son. He loves looking at it but it’s cheap feeling and the fact that it doesn’t stand on its own means that it has fell on my sons face because of this several times. The mirror itself isn’t actually a real mirror but cheap plastic reflective material and has a bluriness to it. To be clear- I wouldn’t necessarily want a real mirror for my son to play with Bc of the potential of it breaking and that it would be heavy if it fell on him, but I just thought this would be more clear in terms of being able to see yourself in it without it being extremely distorted.
Update- after messing with this trying to make it stand up I noticed that there is a very small piece of Velcro in the bottom that was stuck together that kept me from seeing that the back and bottom pull out to create the wedge, however the mirror still does not stand on its own. There’s no structural support when the wedge is opened. It’s very flimsy and is knocked over very easily. Also the package it came in had. I instructions and was a very small piece of cardboard backing that the mirror just sat inside of a small 1†high bottom holder and the mirror was already popped out of I when I received I. Bottom line is I would not recommend this product.

A Great Baby-Pleasing Toy!
I bought two of these, one for each of two children. One is far away, so I don't know how she liked it, but one was for the child of a friend. Today, we celebrated her birthday, and she received her gift. I had not read the specific measurements, and for some reason, I had the ipression that it was going to be bigger than it was. At first, I was a llittle disappointed, but then, seeing the baby with the toy, I was so glad. It's just the right size for her to hold and play with. She was holding it with one hand on each side, and kissing the mirror. She loved that. The rollerball was as big a hit as the mirror was, as well. I think it was a great value for the money, and even better for how much fun my little friend had with the toy. I must say I am thoroughly impressed!

Just what we were looking for UPDATED
Good size, easy to fold up and store, and light weight if it falls over towards baby. Baby also loves when I spin the ball on it and crinkle the bee wings, but I'm pretty sure he'll knock it over when he's old enough to do it himself since it's so light. The actual mirror is not like a crazy funhouse mirror unless you move further away from it. Close up like baby will be it has a good image.
UPDATE: It’s now 8 months later and even still at a year old, he frequently plays with this mirror. He loves kissing and giggling at his reflection and playing peek-a-boo behind it. Trying to touch the “other baby†in the mirror too. He still enjoys the spinning ball as well. Plus, it’s still in good shape. Great toy for an affordable price!

Great concept, cheaply made
Great concept, cheaply made. Not worth the full price. My son loves this anyway because of bright colors, the spinning ball in the bug and the crinkling sound in the bee wings. I had this next to his changing station before he was able to grab, and he soon started spinning the ball, I really encouraged him to grab, and he started picking up the whole thing and tried to eat it :) There are couple of issues with this tho:
1. The mirror DOES distort images, I don't know if I have a different one from all the other reviews, but I would definitely call it distortion.
2. It tips over way too easily and I kind of have to sit with my son to hold it for him.

Can't stand on its own two feet
This mirror doesn't stand up well at all. My baby doesn't enjoy mirrors that aren't perfectly clear (think real mirror) this ones reflection is just okay. After a few play times with him grabbing it though it becomes distorted. He has completely lost interest in it, I don't think he's wanted to play with it since he was six months old.

Disappointing -- falls over immediately & distorted image
I was looking forward to this mirror, but it is disappointing. The first thing I noticed is that the mirror appears to have two dents or dimples in it and thus the mirror gives a distorted image on one half of it. :( The dimples did not occur in transit; they appear to be a result of the design or quality of the mirror (or how it was handled before it was shipped). The next issue was when I set up the mirror. I put it on a flat surface, and my happy baby was pleased for about a minute -- until it fell over, for the first time! It fell over again and again. What's the point of this product if it won't even stand up?! It has two one-inch Velcro strips on the bottom, but they are of no use even when trying to attach it to a rug. I also tried it on a wood floor. Same lousy design problem.
I ordered a replacement and the second one arrived with a dent, also. At least the second one only had one dent. To help fix the falling over problem, we used command strips to secure it to a wall. But, this product is a disappointment, Sassy, and not worth half of what I paid. I have lost faith in your product line.

It is pretty flimsy and the mirror is hazy
I recently purchased two of these mirrors and they are ok but not great. Both of the mirrors are very hazy/cloudy so anything in the mirror looks slightly distorted. One of the mirrors I received already had a lot of scratches on it. I like the idea of the construction. But in reality it's kind of poor. You have the option to "close" the back so it lays flat. But when you have it opened, it's very flimsy and falls a lot. I do like the lady bug portion. It has a ball that your child can spin. My daughter likes that. Overall I wish the mirror was better and the "wedge" up right position was stable.
