Great product, they make great things and it's made my field work a lot more convenient! Be aware that the paper does indeed get wet and saturated in the field, it just takes a long time. Normal paper will be wet and unusable within a few minutes, this takes a few hours, but if you're out in the rain for 8 or 10 hours and it's wet the whole time, it probably will get wet and saturated, at least to some degree, especially where you've written something. Always use pencil, always, no matter where you are, it will never smear. Pen doesn't work on this type of paper, the ink actually doesn't dry properly on this material. Great product though and I'll keep buying it for sure!
on 2017-11-14 The correct eraser is critical
It's expensive but it is good paper for its intended use. If you write in pencil and make a mistake, be sure to use the correct eraser or you will end up with a black smeary mess. The Pentel Hi-polymer eraser does the best job though it's not perfect. Pentel Hi-polymer Block Eraser, Large, 3 Pack, White (ZEH10BP3-K6)
Four stars because I think the price is too high.

Cool Paper but not Everyday Functional
Very cool that it's waterproof. But because of the treatment to the paper, certain pens just don't work well. In particular I love precision point pens and they just won't write on this paper. I've had to resort to standard Bic type pens (which I don't love). I'll be saving this for any "extreme conditions" writing in the future.

I still use Rite int he Rain products because they offer a sturdy product (like the smaller notebooks)

Great paper . . .
Love this Rite-in-the-Rain paper. While I don't typically use it outside, it is wonderful quality paper, doesn't tear easily and writes very nicely. Love the different colors also, makes organizing a binder that much better.

Great Writting Paper for the Outdoors
I bought this paper to put in a Rite-In-The-Rain All Weather Tan Planner Starter Kit (9250T). Together, along with a few other items, it will form part of a writing/notes/records/information/journal planner. The paper itself has horizontal lines as with typical ruled paper, but also has faint vertical tic marks to make a grid ruled design as well. It's six hold punched and is quality paper, as with all Rite-In-The-Rain products. The amount you get is about right for my intended use, but you really aren't getting a lot of paper for your money, compared to either regular paper or even Rite-In-The-Rain's own computer paper. But, it's to the size you need, colored tan, waterproof, hole punched, and convenient. All in all I'd say it's a good buy and a great product.

Pre-printed is nice
Well, maybe it's just OK, however, being able to just open your notebook, and slap these into it, is pretty nice. I did buy a pack of the Copier paper ones, and have to say I use both all of the time.
I've yet to tear a page out of the binder, or accidentally tear a page.
What can I say? It's Rite in the Rain, you get the value of this, or you don't
