I was delighted to find them online because I used all of ...
I don't use these hooks for Christmas lights. I use them to hang hummingbird feeders on my front porch. My house (including the porch) has vinyl siding that extends to the underside of the porch. Metal hooks are too heavy. I tried several other kinds of hooks that didn't work. These do. I was delighted to find them online because I used all of the ones I bought at a yard sale. Yes, the hooks will stretch out from the weight of the hummingbird feeders so keep an eye on them if using for something heavy. I assume that lights would not be as heavy and would require less checking.

These are WAY more durable than I was expecting. They are made of a really sturdy plastic. It gets pretty hot where I live (touches triple digets occasionally) and I had some concern about them softening due to heat, but I haven't seen any problems. I used them to hang industrial grade cafe lights on my back patio. I doubled them up (even tripled in some areas) - but they do the job really well...even with my fairly heavy lights. These are also really simple to use and kept me from putting any holes in my house for hooks.

Next time take the price tag off pls
Nice product, works really well. I would have 5 starred this were it not for the fact the box had the original price tag on it! see attached image.
Paying $8 for a product that was $2.49 loses you a star.
It looked like you had a go at scraping it off but failed. Next time please try harder to take the label off 😉

Bought July 2014 and leave them on the gutters year round for a light string of solar powered lights. When moving or changing the light string many of the hooks snapped even when handled gently. They had become very hard and brittle. We live in a climate that is very mild so they were not subjected to extreme heat or cold. Don't plan on using them longer term.

These DO work for a 3/8" misting system hose
These clips are very high quality. I used them to hang a misting system hose from my gutters. The outside diameter of the hose is 3/8" which is about the size of AAA battery.

Easy to use
I don't like heights so the fact that these were easy enough for me to put on one handed while holding onto the ladder with the other hand makes this a five star product to me.

There is not other clip to hang christmas lights up with. Between the 2 ends you can attach to almost anything and they will stayed secure and not brake when stressed. My house is very windy and the lights never move with these hooks.

These clips are amazing. Used them to put up patio lights here in Austin and they were able to withstand hurricane winds and keep my lil bit pricey lights totally stable! Highly recommend as they are also easy to install! Thanks

These are some of the best, most versatile hooks I've come across
These are some of the best, most versatile hooks I've come across. They works curly or eve-end (front or back) depending on the eve, and can also sneak behind siding and clip fairly well to j-channel, etc. We leave ours on the house for 3-4 months a year where they experience on average 20-30 degree F days, down as low as perhaps -10 at night, and still get 4+ years out of them.
