"Roxio Easy VHS TO DVD Plus" through 2DayDeliver
Re: "Roxio Easy VHS TO DVD Plus" through 2DayDeliver.com. On both 2DayDelivers' site and your site it clearly stated that with "Roxio Easy VHS TO DVD Plus", in addition to transferring video from VHS to DVD, one can "reduce video noise", "stabilize shaky videos", "improve color balance and lighting" and so on. Sounded great! So, like a fool, I purchased the "Plus" version. It came in packaging labeled "Roxio Easy VHS TO DVD Plus". The box plainly lists all of the above mentioned features. To my surprise, upon loading the software and reading the instruction booklet, I find that what I really purchased was the basic version packaged in the "Plus" box! ...and that if I want the features such as "reduce video noise", "stabilize shaky videos", and "improve color balance and lighting" I have to pay additional money for a "key". Neither your site nor 2DayDelivers' said anything about that. Per the product description (I have screen shots of yours and 2DayDelivers') these features were/are portrayed as being part of the package I bought! Oh, and by the way, you made sure to cover your bases by slapping a sticker on the box stating no return or refund if the software is opened. If I were naive, I guess it's possible the wrong software and instruction booklet were mistakenly put in the box - but on the face of it, you appear to be nothing but a bunch of deceitful, misleading, scammers. I will not be buying another product from your company - and I will be posting this on 2DayDeliver and elsewhere.

Great Hardware, Terrible Software
My review is broken into two parts. One part will deal with the device itself, while the other part will deal with the software. I purchased this item to convert some old home movies, split them into separate chapters, and burn them to DVD.
Device: The Roxio VHS to DVD cable was simple to install. I plugged the usb into my computer and then I plugged the composite (female, Y/R/W) cable into the composite (male) cables from the VCR. The USB cord had to install some drivers and took about 30 seconds. I would rate the device has 5 stars.
Software: The software is complex and hard to use. The software would allow me to capture the VCR output, but after that I couldn't edit it. I couldn't split it into separate chapters. I could stop the VCR, but then the software would capture 2-3 seconds of blue screen. That makes the videos look terrible. I found that if I used the program "Virtual Dub", I could do exactly what I wanted. The program gets 0 stars.
Summary: The hardware itself was simple, easy to install, and straight forward. The software did not work for the intent for which it was purchased. Save yourself some money and just buy the hardware from another seller and use the program "Virtual Dub." My review score was the average between the hardware and software score.

Worked the First Time...Easy!
I've not had any of the issues some people have reported. After agonizing over which software and equipment to purchase for the conversion of my 60 hours worth of family video, I gave Easy VHS to DVD 3 Plus a try. There were softwares both more and less expensive. I hooked up an ancient vcr to my Windows 7 laptop. Installation was simple, no glitches. When I opened the program and pressed "play" on the vcr, it took about a 5 second delay and then the recording showed up in the main screen area. It could not be easier to use. I'm saving the files to my pc for editing and probably will not burn them to dvd. The editing software is also intuitive--just some simple cuts/edits and nothing fancier. Exactly what I needed for this task, as I have Adobe Premiere for more extensive editing. The picture quality and sound quality were as good as the original. Love this product! I'm very happy with this purchase.

This product is great and easy to use. The only true issue I have with it is when I put a home movie in to convert, some of them have spaces in between segments and the product views this as a strong point and I'll end up with 4 or 5 segments for one movie instead of a steady streamed disc. Which means I have to rewind and start it again just right so nothing is missed. Also, it has editing options and audio editing options but for what I need, the specific tweeking, etc I still have to find other alternatives for these. Other than those minor issues, it is a great and cost effective product. Thank you so much

I've had two of these in the last few years ...
I've had two of these in the last few years. Both failed in exactly the same way after a few months of use. The hardware simply stopped transferring the video signal. Don't think I'll try a third one.
Update 21 October 2017: well, I did try a third one and it failed to work straight out of the box. Tried the Corel chat line for assistance: "We will open a ticket and get back to you by email." Tried the toll-free phone number: "You already have a ticket open; we will get back to you by email." As this is being written I have received one email which showed that they didn't understand my explanation of the problem. I clarified this in a reply email and am now waiting for a reply. This is very similar to their customer support experience on the first two units.
I strongly suspect that I will be returning this item, but will wait a few more days for Corel's crack customer support team to resolve the issue.

Works Okay With Some Difficulty
I've only used this for a few VHS tapes and it worked okay. After a couple of glitches, I was able to get a DVD of my older VHS's. It's a bit of a hassle to hook up my old VHS player to use this software. Other than using this to transfer some cherished home videos, I would recommend just to buy new (or used) DVDs of anything else you might consider transferring. Plus, I found editing difficult where I just chose my best VHS recordings as is.
FYI: I found this software to be system hungry where it worked best after a fresh computer startup and without using any other applications/programs.

Cost Savings Makes it Worthwhile
All in all, I am very satisfied, primarily due to the cost savings. We were looking at literally hundreds and hundreds of dollars to convert the VHS tapes we have if we had gone through a commercial service to transfer them. There are some frustrating moments in learning the software but they have popups to help. I just learned from Roxio Tech Support (apparently now Corel) that the split function is limited to two hour recordings. He recommended that I split my initial recording from VHS to computer into two-hour segments before I attempted any burning. I haven't even bothered to test the feature of going directly from VHS to DVD. With disk space so cheap, why not do any burning from the ".mpg" that is already saved to disk? There are bugs in the software but workarounds can be found. This goes to some (unnecessary) time in learning the software idiosyncrasies. There are other features that I haven't bothered to test. I just want the data saved electronically!

Easy VHS to DVD 3 Plus works great
Easy VHS to DVD 3 Plus performed exactly as it was advertised. It makes VHS to DVD conversion a simple task. I have many VHS-C tapes from my video recorder going all the way back to 1992 when my first child was born. There are services available that will do this conversion for $15 to $20 per tape. I have paid for the cost of the product just by converting three of my tapes. I estimate I have saved over $500 converting all of my tapes instead of going with service. I highly recommend the tool.

Works as intended if you have all the right connections to your camera
Works as intended if you have all the right connections to your camera. I am using it to transfer miniDV digital content to my PC. The software makes that process easy. I had to use a combination of an s-video cable and the red and white connections to get good quality video and audio transfer. Fortunately I had connection wire that came with camera for the red and white cable connection for the audio. The transfer will go no faster than normal play time on the camera since that is the only playback hardware I have; that is the only drawback to this system.

Rixio VHS to DVD
The product has some problems but works. If you have a pause in you VHS this program will finalize your DVD to soon. I have wasted several DVD's due to a pause in the old family shot VHS tapes I am copying. The program should let you decide when to finalize or at least give more time than it does. The wire conection get's hot when transferring from VHS to DVD.
