Far too tight for 24 lb baby
This is a nice jacket but I can't imagine putting a thirty pound baby in it. We were looking for something that fit out youngest better than the 0-50lb Extrasport that her sister wore at this age and this jacket is NOT it. Our baby is 24 lbs right now, so I knew that it wouldn't last more than the summer, but when I zip it up now it barely closes around her neck! I might have to use it tomorrow as we have a trip planned, so that will be the one usage before I retire it--not exactly cost effective. I wish I had gotten the larger size even though technically it doesn't fit her yet as per the label. Or I could have just gotten another Extrasport.

2 year old wears it.
It fits my 2 year old little girl who weighs 28 pounds. Material and fit are great. Comfortable, not irritating. She does dip forward and gulp tons of water by accident still. It is a type III pfd, not type II. Wanted something she will not tip forward in. But good enough for me to hold on to her.

Best jacket we could find for our 30-50# grandchildren
we have 4 grandchildren under 6. these jackets are perfect. we like the head flotation support, and the quick grab handle to allow you to pull the child out of the water. Great price for a great life jacket.

Great life jacket for little ones
Great life jacket for little ones. The handle at the back of the neck is great for keeping little ones close and secure. I would highly recommend this product. Good construction too. Well made.

Perfect PFD for Children
My family does a lot of paddling, both kayak and now canoe, and this PFD is a solid choice. Most importantly, the kids, 2 and 5, don't mind wearing them. And we ALWAYS wear our lifejackets. MTI makes good equipment. The first two MTI lifejackets I bought for myself and kid #1 have lasted several years. I had to buy this one because my little guy grew out of his infant MTI. The hook on the back is great to lift them right out of the kayak.

Float straight to back
I wanted a life jacket that would be safe for my one-year-old and small two-year-old at the pool. They do the trick in that my kiddos immediately float on their backs when they get in the water. The thing I don't like is that they are really uncomfortable for them. I purchased them because they seemed more comfortable than others but they are pretty bulky and stiff.

Well made life jacket
Good Life Jacket for my one year old, he is very tall (32") but only 24 lbs. So the life jack is a little big right now. But he will grow into it :) I can tell it is very well made. I hope for it to last many years.

our almost 2 year old grandson did not fuse it ...
our almost 2 year old grandson did not cry to wear his lifesaving jacket only wish there was a cover over the top of the zipper so it wouldn't rub on his neck

Great product!
Great product...bought for my 3 yo to use in the pool & it's fantastic. I like the flap on the neck so it assists keeping her head afloat while on floating on her back.
