I very seldom write a review, but this is a great product. I am a chiropractor and very familiar with several different types of Orthotics. I am very active in racquet sports and developed severe plantar fascitis. primarily left heel pain. I continued to work with it exercises, stretches etc. along with different types of orthotics without much success. Finally I tried the expensive custom hard plastic orthotics, which even after gradually breaking them in, my feet just generally hurt so I decided to search online for a better orthotic.
I wanted a very firm orthotic but also one that would also cushion your feet and absorb shock. My research lead me to the Spenco Total Maximum Orthotic insole. While I won't say that it alone cured my plantar fasciitis, I will say that along with everything else I was doing it was a huge help. I have 2 pairs of the orthotics and use them in most of my shoes including my slippers. This is a great product and I highly recommend it. Remove the insoles that are in your current shoes and replace with the Spenco Orthotic.

Arch support not in correct place on my foot, otherwise would be great!
I would give this item 5 stars based on quality and comfort, but the placement of the arch support does not line up with my arch.
I wear a size 7 narrow shoe, but my feet are actually between 6 1/2 and 7. (one foot is 6 1/2 and the other is s few millimeters over size 6 1/2). I ordered size 2, following the measurements on the size chart. The insoles are quite a bit too long- probably about 3 inches from the point to the top of my longest toe, but if trimmed they would have fit in my shoe perfectly.
Since I didn't want to trim them before I knew if they would work for me, I tried them out both by placing the arch supports on the floor and standing on them, and by placing them in an open toe shoe, so the excess length could fit out the front.
My heel fit well in the heel cup. I have very narrow feet, so that was a thrill to me. The level of support, height of the arch, and cushioning was perfect. I liked how there was a springy gel-like insert under the rigid heel.
However, when my foot was placed correctly in the heel cup, the arch support was not in the correct place on my foot. It was about 1/2 to 1 inch too far back.
If they fit my foot right, these would have been by far the best arch supports I've ever found

Inflexible and rather wide
Ouch these make my feet hurt. I love the Spenco RX Orthotic Arch and thought I’d try these in my new hiking shoes. They have a rigid plastic arch support and raised colored pronation pads. I don’t have pronation so after a few painful days of wearing these I removed the pads with a shop grinder. They still kill my feet. I now have sharp pain in my heels which is getting better since removing these insoles.

If you suffer from plantar fascitis you need to try these. I had originally purchased superfeet greens but returned them to get these. I have no regrets and have since purchased two more pairs for my other shoes. I use these in all my running shoes. They are alot cheaper on 2DayDeliver compared to the price at specialty stores.

A bit disappointed due to the fact they seem to be a bit large per the size on the packaging. Not certain I have gotten the desired relief expected by my physician due to the bad fit. I guess I should have gone to a physical store to be properly fitted for these.

Amazing. Worked for me. Eliminated the PF in my right for and reduced by half in the left. Have to wear them every day though....I no longer have severe pain in my feet first thing in morning. I've ordered 3 pair.

Works for me!
Best relief for me. I've been using Spenco insoles for more years than I'd care to admit, and I've tried many other brands (including the shoe manufacturers and popular drugstore brands), but I always come back to Spenco. Running and playing as a young man, years of standing on concrete floors in the workplace, and now walking support and comfort for these old feet. All the Spenco products work well, it's a matter of choosing the correct insole for your situation and foot conditions. From lace-up work boots to velcro closure walking shoes, there is a Spenco insert that will work for you, and probably outlast (no pun) your shoes.

Spenco Max is the best product I've found yet for plantar fasciitis $4$
I've had plantar fasciitis for years and these work just as good as the orthotics from my doctor but for about half the price. My wife has recently developed plantar fasciitis in her right foot so I immediately got her some of these. Just wish they were a little cheaper so I could get a set for every pair of shoes, boots & sneakers so I don't have to keep moving them around.

Great fit, nice feel and comfortable
I'm on my 3rd pair, tried one first and I liked it, so know I have 3. I have tried a bunch of different ones from the store, but the better ones are usually only the half-sole one not the full soles like this one, they are a perfect tight fit and does the job very well. No sliding inside shoe and thin enough not too put pressure on your foot on the top. Very good support on the heal and my plantar fasciitis is almost gone!!! amazing. Highly recommended against anything on the store.

Looks like good quality insoles
Looks like good quality insoles, however I couldn't try them out as they were far too big for my size 13 shoes. I know they are adjustable and can be cut to size, but even so there was no way they were going to fit into my tapered shoes. They might be more suitable for running shoes or boots, but not likely to fit into dressier shoes that are tapered.
