Awesome grill. Me and my wife bought this grill because we live in NYC and the building we belong, and the city does not allow gas grills on residential buildings. It is so compact, so easy to use and assemble, and cooking on it not complicated, unlike other grill were they can suck all the juices of the meats, this does not do that.. It leaves plenty of juices for the meat to cook perfectly.

Great electric grilling solution!!
Perfect solution for apartment dwellers that cannot have a gas grill. Although a bit pricey, the quality and functionality are excellent.

Great Little Grill.
I purchased this to replace an old Weber Q gas grill. Assembly is very simple. I cooked a thick rib eye steak for the first use. I let it warm up for 10 minutes and cooked the steak 5 minutes per side which is the same I would do on the Q gas grill. The steak cooked great and smoked and seared just like the gas one. I am very pleased. BTW, it has a red led in the controller that illuminates when the grill is turned from off to on. Mine did not illuminate. I called Weber and they shipped a new one out first business day. I am very pleased with the grill and Weber customer service.

Overall I like this electric weber. Mostly I use for burgers and steaks, and it does a nice job once you get your timing down. You can't do ribs on it. You need to preheat for twenty minutes and it's recommended you don't cook meats that take longer than twenty minutes. I did and it badly glazed and blackened the inside of the lid. Cleaning is not difficult like any grill they tend to never look like new once you've grilled on them a few times. Be sure and scrape the debris off the heating coil...I use a putty knife or a pampered chef scraper tool..overall I like this....if you keep it outside make sure you remove the plug if it could get rained on. I have mine on my patio which does get wet so therefore when it rains I can't BBQ. I think you are limited on what you can cook on this...no ribs,no whole chicken, turkey breast. But you can cook those on the weber q 2400 electric grill..which I wish I had bought instead.

Nice little electric grill
Nice little electric grill. It does what it's supposed to. I only give it four stars because THERE IS NO THERMOMETER IN THE LID. (Weber, are you listening?)

Cooked a pretty thick steak in no time
Thrilled to have this for my place that doesn’t allow propane or gas. Packaging was solid. Cooked my first steak on it outside in temp of 30 degrees and stayed smoking hot!!! Cooked a pretty thick steak in no time, I would actually say it took about the same time it would take a gas grill with the lid closed. In love so far! Can’t wait for summer...

We have tried several brands of electric grills that run on standard 120v AC and this is the only one that really works!

Never thought we would like an electric grill, but this one proves to be a pleasant surprise! We moved into a condo that does not allow charcoal or propane, so we gave it a try. It truly is awesome! Heats up as fast and as hot has propane. Cools down quick! Good deal.

Very well made grill compared to all the Chinese knock-offs on the market these days. Recommend you preheat the grill on high for about 10-15 minutes if you plan on using all the grilling surface; I grilled about 6 - 8 chicken breasts at once, and it seemed to be all it could handle. The clean-up involved with this grill is considerable compared with a charcoal grill - where there basically isn't any. Call me an old head but when it comes to cooking dead animal flesh, nothing beats an open flame.

I like the fact that the rack grates
It is a Weber and shows it. The price is rather high but it does what it says. Well-made, arrives with some assemble required. There are loads of blogs and videos highlighting the grill. I like the fact that the rack grates, drip tray and the lower insert can be removed and placed in the dishwasher. It heats quickly, and grills a steak as good as gas - one inch thick T-bones grill in less than 15 minutes - so be careful, this thing can really heat. Also, I do put a small aluminum cup with wet hickory or apple wood in the bottom below the grates, as it heats and chars, the wood gives off a wonderful smoke for the meat.
