one minor tweak to perfection.
these are pretty good shoe stretchers with one minor tweak the plastic washer (in the picture I attached) replace it with a metal one that has a bigger outer diameter that will prevent the crappy plastic one getting all jammed up in the hole while trying to stretch your shoes you will have to take the side nut off to replace the plastic washer but it wasn't too hard. All in all these could be made better with metal parts but after replacing the washer these worked pretty great especially for the price.

Wouldn't get them again.
First time I tried them they seemed to do fine. The shoes needed more stretching after all and I attached the round bits and reinserted. At that point on one of the stretchers the front 'cone' bit that helps separate the two halves as you crank it broke off and I didn't realize it until I removed them again. So now I have one that works - so far. When will it break, too?

Overall, not bad, but the holes were very poorly drilled and were slightly oversize. Half of the plastic buttons would drop out before the shoe could be inserted.

The shoe stretchers came when expected, but they didn't come with instructions. And so far they have not met expectations. Unless I'm doing it wrong, they do not seem to be stretching my shoes. I put them in at night, take them out in the morning so I can wear them. This last time I've had them in for several days, untouched, and I'll see if they work for a longer period of time.

These are ok and seem to do the job. However, I find them hard to operate. Not hard as in complicated, just tough to turn and expand. The length part of the stretcher is almost impossible to get to work. I like that they are natural wood, but I also found a bunch of wood pieces all over my shoes which was not super easy to re move. Lots of little wooden pieces fall out while expanding. Debating a return.

Plastic Washer can Break Easily
These are great but the plastic washer that comes with it is very flimsy and will break within a few uses. Replacing the plastic washer with a metal one is highly recommended. Also, there are other options similar to these on 2DayDeliver that already come with a metal washer. I purchased a different set earlier and did not have this issue with those.

When I asked if the stretchers worked and how she liked them, she was enthusiastic
I bought these for an elderly neighbor who was dismayed when a pair of shoes she'd ordered (which is how she does her shopping) was tight across the toe area. When I asked if the stretchers worked and how she liked them, she was enthusiastic; how wonderful they were and they did exactly what she wanted! And she'd recommend them! (They may deserve 5-stars, but I didn't handle this item personally,)

Does what I expected it to do. Based on other mentioning that the washer broke, I use them as a gradual increase in size. Adding just a little each day. Takes a little longer but it works and so far the washer isn't breaking.

Helps rescue those shoes you love
Wifey needed these to relieve the pressure on her toe from a tight shoe.
Install the pressure pads where you want to stretch the leather. Apply a little canola oil to the inside of the shoe at the pressure point (to soften the leather) then insert the shoe stretcher. Leave it alone for a couple of days, then remove the stretchers..

Not Well Made!
If you want really good shoe stretchers, try a place that sells quality ones. They are hard to operate and are not easy on the hands. I had to twist one so far to get it out of the shoe that it fell apart. I would not recommend these.
