One of my favorite easels
Love this easel. I have a good amount of easels and this one here is one I rate at the top! It is very light weight, but strong enough. But, one has to realize that since it is light weight there are some limitations. Common sense should tell a person that there is give and take on it being light weight. I would not think of using it outside with a stronger wind. Can be used as a floor or table easel with ease. Carrying case is a nice bonus.

Use for storm window cleaning
I bought this to use as a stand to hold storm windows while cleaning and it does a great job. Much better than standing the windows on the floor and trying to clean them there. Very light weight and compact.

Sturdy and lightweight
A nice easel for traveling or just taking on a trek outdoors to capture whatever beauty catches your eye. It is lightweight enough for mobility, yet sturdy enough to hold canvas and an ipad holder attachment and heavy-ish iPad (I have the iPad Pro 12"). Easy to assemble, easy to fold up and store. I've used it on our small porch as well as en plein air.

Great sturdy easel, ideal for art.
Great sturdy easel, ideal for art. I use soft pastel and i was looking for a sturdy easel to hold my drawing board in place so i can paint on it with ease. Indeed i was not disappointed. It came even earlier than expected. I can apply my soft and hard pastels on it without any concern, it is sturdy and amazing support for my drawing board. It is relatively cheap, and worth the money. Highly recommended for beginner and professional artists.

Very nice easel. Nice features, infinitely variable height, very light and comes with a nice carrying case. Very pleased!

Versatile, but had to crouch when standing
I found that this easel was very versatile as far as positioning goes and once it's securely in place it's sturdy. I'm petite and had to crouch to get at the bottom of the canvas when standing, in case that's an issue for anyone else. That did not work for me at all, but I have major back issues. Since it's so versatile I can adjust it for sitting when I need to and if the back leg is made shorter or longer it tilts the canvas forward or backward—another plus. I like that it's very lightweight and has a case, too. I haven't tried it on a table yet.

Description says "VERY STURDY." I found this item to be very light and not substantial in the least. The legs would not stay put and the back leg continued to "slide" out away from the easel. Don't know why everyone else liked this because it certainly doesn't fit the bill for doing any type of work on it. Price was good but good prices don't mean anything if the product doesn't do what it's supposed to do.

We used this to hold a heavy frame for a birthday party. It's held up just fine. I was going to opt for a cheaper one but this one not only holds more weight but the lip is wider for a thicker frame or canvas.

This is a sturdy and well made easel. The square tubing feels quite robust for its extremely light weight. It fits perfectly in the fabric carrying case. I have purchased two additional easels for our displays and would recommend this model to anyone.

Bob Ross painting can get pretty vigorous, and this holds up to the task ...
I bought this to use as an Almighty Easel for my Bob Ross paint parties. Bob Ross painting can get pretty vigorous, and this holds up to the task magnificently. The only thing I don't like about it is that the top clip that holds the canvas in place also covers a portion of the canvas, so if you're completely covering it in color, you're going to end up with a rectangle maybe 2" by 1/2" that you can't get to under the clip. It would be much better if the easel gripped the canvas from the top and bottom like a vise grip, without the need for the clips that hang over.
Love how far the legs can extend (I am 5'9" and this is more than sufficient for my needs), and love how well it folds up into the included canvas bag. One of my painting buddies purchased one too after he saw mine in action. Great little inexpensive option for painters.
