Doesn't drain itself too quickly like some of the other models out there
Doesn't drain itself too quickly like some of the other models out there. This can last up to a month before it needs to be refilled and so far, has been absolutely great. NO leaks of any kind. Use distilled water per instructions ...this should be in every case you own for any guitar that has a solid wood body and top. Also, buy a cheap humidity meter and aim for 50-60%.... temp and humidity are the 2 most important things to watch when storing an instrument. These are great... just make sure you check your meter on a set schedule (1wk to 1mo, determined by how dry it is where you live) so you know how often to refill it. If you have a guitar you value and want it to last a lifetime, you owe it to yourself and keep it humidity controlled in the case and use something to monitor and adjust those levels. Playing 25 yrs now, this works really well and I feel is the most cost-effective option out there I've found.

Good product! Works for me!
These are nice I ordered two. I have a couple of D'A's, these are better. Why?...because with the DA and Planet Wave ones you have to take of the top take out a small sponge soak and squeeze and reassemble. Now that said the pitfall with this is getting the water in. It says fill wit 2 Tbs/10ml easier said than done....unless you have a syringe....I have syringe's I use for gluing etc. they are 20ml ones so it is just seconds to fill two. These are also half the price of the DA's. I line in a very dry climate. So whenever not in use there is one in every guitar cased or not.

DH says it's doing the job keeping his acoustic guitar from drying out in our Arizona dry heat.

It's an OK product
It's a very basic humidifier. What I don't really like about it is that the top doesn't come off. So you have to let water enter through a very small hole, which takes longer because the sponge has to absorb it. I probably would have bought something else, but it's fine and not too bad.

Would recommend one that you can access the sponge
Difficult to add water. You add into some hole on top and sponge takes a while to absorb. So slow going. Would recommend one that you can access the sponge.

I would have liked the top top come off
I would have liked the top top come off. It would be easier to fill water. It does work on my acoustic nylon.

Works like more expensive ones.
Works just like more expensive ones. No leaking! Less rewatering than other kinds. Fast service.

The price is great and they seem to be doing the job. Since I've only been using them a month, I assume they're working but time will tell. They do not drip if only two tips of water are used every couple of weeks.

it'll last a good week or so before you have to refill it
The fact you can't take off the top is a pain to refill but the plus it, it'll last a good week or so before you have to refill it. For the price, can't beat it.

God enough to do the job.
Seem to be made well enough for the job. A little harder to fill than the name brand, but easy enough. I have several guitars and a less expensive alternative is great for me.
