Fun to mess around with but not sure it's really that great of a standalone "weapon". I had a lot of fun with a friend's Demolisher so I thought the missile launcher would be a lot of fun. The Thunderblast seems to have a lot of unnecessary bulk compared to the bottom mounted missile launcher on the Demolisher. It has a rack for two missiles so you would think it would come with three missiles to be fully loaded. Unfortunately it only has two. Haven't looked into the price of picking up an extra.

Perfect for family nerf wars!
My family has epic nerf battles. What can I say, it's how we roll. I bought this to add to the many I already own and it was awesome when I sabatoged my brother with it the moment he walked in the door. The projectiles have some weight to them so they fly pretty far and up close shots have a slight stun effect. The frustration free packaging made it easy to open.

Super fun nerf gun
Super fun nerf gun. My 7 year old loves it. Take note though that this is completely propelled by the person operating. It's not a trigger mechanism. It's pump action. Also the little fins on the darts are already breaking off after a month.

Great for bodywork and modding
Out of the box the Thunderblast isn't very ergonomic. Little nubs on the foregrip and main grip tend to wear into your hand, the stock seats rather poorly in your shoulder (although the curve on the underside sits nicely on top of your shoulder), and the foregrip sits too low to be comfortable, for me at least. So if you don't plan to do anything to it, you're likely better off spending a bit more money to get a Demolisher instead.
The reason I give this a good rating though is it's mod potential. Because the internals are so simple and much of the blaster is empty space, you can easily cut off the stock and grip to mount it as an underbarrel attachment (similar to the Demolisher), or combine it with a new stock and grip of your choosing. I personally grafted the stock off a toy shotgun onto the back, and it substantially improves the ergonomics and appearance in my opinion. Performance itself is very good too, and simple additions like adding a strip of electrical tape under the plunger O-Ring and some silocon grease go a long way with this one.

Great nerf toy especially if you catch the super cheap sale price.
My son likes this as part of his nerf collection but it is a limited firepower weapon during nerf battles. Functions well but maybe does not shoot as far as he would have liked. 2DayDeliver recently has these for 7.50 which was a hell of a deal. Bought an extra for the neighbors little boy as well.

This Nerf gun is the best gift a little boy can receive
This Nerf gun is the best gift a little boy can receive. It doesn't get stuck in the launcher and works well. It would've been better if it came with more bullets. I would definitely purchase this Nerf gun again for my other nephews. Oh and not to mention the quality is very good.

It is perfect for our 5 year old grandson. It is not too heavy nor does it shoot too hard and far. He loves to shoot us with the Nerf guns, and it doesn't hurt at all.

Indoor use only. Barely can travel across a room.
For the price I got it at it was fine, but there are so many other Nerf guns better than this. Awful to aim and the darts are only good for small indoor rooms. If your kid does big Nerf battles outside, this is completely useless.
