This product is excellent!!
This product is excellent!!!!! First I purchased the ZeroEdge car mount. Placed my Nexus 6 into it, and here we go, it was charging. However, running Waze, and Pandora, while the screen was ON had a lot of power consumption and the ZeroEdge wasn't able to produce enough power to charge the Nexus 6. After about a month, I sold it on 2DayDeliver and purchased this iOttie mount.
having Waze and Pandora running, and the phone is charging!! :)
I used an NFC tag which is on the back of the actual mount, to kill any other app, other than Waze and Pandora, and automatically turn on these two apps.
Only thing I need to do is place my phone there, the fingers will auto lock the phone, and here I have a charger which actually works, music and navigation.
What else do I need? :)

This thing is FANTASTIC! I got it as it was listed as one of the best on a website when I Googled best wireless car chargers, and boy is it worth every penny of the $57 it cost. It holds the phone perfectly, and is a breeze to remove with one hand. I ended up putting it to the right of my radio, as I didn't like it agove the radio, as it blocked too much of the road, and considering I look at my side mirrors all the time, I figured looking halfway to them to see the phone would be fine, and with it there none of the cable is in the way at all, and it doesn't block anyone getting in and out of the passenger seat either. You can see it in the attached picture that it easily attached to the curved surface and once you tighten the suction, it is on there for good. The only way it is coming off is if you tear off the dash!. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a good wireless car charger, as you definitely get what you paid for!!

Mounts well, needs adjustment for Nexus 6
I have been waiting for iOttie to release a version of their One Touch Wireless Qi that will fit my Nexus 6 while in it's case. This product finally fills that need. Additionally, it appears that iOttie has improved their mounting with this product by adding an additional suction/sticky pad that creates a stronger bond between the dashboard and the mount. This is quite welcome because it allows me to mount my phone on the dash rather than the windshield which I had to do with previous iOttie products due to poor mounting on non-smooth surfaces.
Unfortunately, there is one aspect of this product that is a drawback. Due to the location of the buttons on my phone, nearer the middle of the device, the spring loaded grips on the side go right over my volume buttons and are strong enough to change the volume on the phone when it is docked. This is an issue when adjusting the foot (bottom adjustable stop) to be as big as possible so that the phone is as secure as possible when in a horizontal orientation. With the foot as low as it can be the volume rocker is affected, I have alleviated this by not adjusting the foot as low, but this is less than ideal because it leaves the phone less supported on one side.
I will update this later, but for now, with about two hours of ownership, I would recommend this product for owners of large Qi enabled devices.

Loved it till it failed
I have had two of these for several years, very expensive but they have worked great for me. The components are well made and engineered and I have loved them. But one of my units stopped working recently it just heats up (very hot) and makes the phone hot but does not charge the phone any longer. So except for the failed unit I loved this and did get a years worth of use before it failed.

Great product highly recommended.
I have wireless charging mounts in my cars and some have the non charging mount. One vehicle has both. I use the Qi Mount with my Galaxy Note 5. And the non charging mount for my IPOD touch for long trips with spotty cell coverage. I have recommended it to lots of people who ended up purchasing it and love it as much as I do. It charges as fast as the OEM wireless chargers. Most importantly IOttie Mounts with the dashboard pad is the only mount that will stay stuck on a textured dash with a slight curve in Arizona through the summer. If you follow the directions and take your time getting it right it will stay stuck on the dash. I have gone through a dozen other product that just couldn't make it through a Phoenix Arizona Summer. If I had any suggestions it would be to put the USB port on the bottom it looks stupid sticking out the side. The clamp can be slightly larger and the push wings could too. I can see it being difficult for someone with small hands and a large phone. And lastly make the base swivel and lock.

- Very cool device. Sticks to the pad nicely.
- Both power adapter and wireless charger have no effect on FM radio quality (which is nice).
- One thing to note is that this INCLUDES a Gel Dashboard pad. ( iOttie Sticky Gel Dashboard Pad for iOttie Car Mounts Flexible Dashboard Pad for Curved Surfaces
). I'm a bit upset that the ad indicates that it's an optional extra. (I went ahead and bought another because of this).
- It would be nice if the Power adapter that comes with the charger had a detachable USB port.
- You have to sometimes push the phone (in my case, tested with the Samsung Galaxy S6 and S8) quite hard against the charger before it will start charging.

Good. Maybe not as good a mount as the original, but Qi is nice
I had the regular One Touch mount by iOttie before deciding to upgrade to the Qi model. Operation and articulation are largely the same, though the design is a bit different. I've found it more difficult to position 'just so' than the original, and I've also found that it tends to shake a fair amount if there are any bumps (something I didn't notice at all with the original mount), and quite a lot so if you extend the neck of it appreciably so I usually keep it retracted (which likewise affects the articulation). It's also a bit more bulky than the original, but that's to be expected with the addition of the charger.
The charger itself works reliably. As you may expect, this will not charge your phone as quickly as plugging it in will, so make sure you know this up front. I generally run Waze and some sort of Music, Pandora, DoggCatcher, etc audio program, and the screen stays on. I was a little concerned based on some other reviews that the Qi charger wouldn't be able to keep up with this to even keep the battery level constant, but it does fine. It does charge a bit at this level of load, but not much (maybe 10% an hour), though this can be improved by shutting the screen off.
Overall, I'm happy with it. I'm glad to not have to plug in the phone every time, I just click it in and go. I knocked one star off because I don't think it's as good a mount as the iOttie One Touch I replaced with it, but still worth the upgrade to Qi if that's something you're considering.
UPDATE: I've been using this mount for about 6 months now, so here's a few additional things I've noticed.
First, this thing will affect your radio reception. Mine was never particularly good to begin with, so depending how far out in the country I am, it sometimes comes down to choosing between Qi charging and a functional radio. Not SO bad, though, because you can just pop the cable out of the mount and into the phone and you're good to go. Still, it's a negative mark.
Second, it's very hard to make fine adjustments to phone position with this mount with respect to position (tilt is great). The mount sits at the end of an extendable boom, which is all but useless for two reasons: first, if you extend the arm, your phone will shake endlessly, and second, any extension of the arm consequently reduces the resolution at which you can set the phone's position (i.e. every little step on the pivot traces a much wider arc as the lever arm grows in length - extend the length, extend the difference in locking points). If you want to make a small adjustment to where the phone is sitting, you pretty much have to take the stupid thing off the windshield and start over. Mostly for this (but also a bit for the radio reception problem) I've docked it 1 star.
The last thing I want to note is that my phone gets HOT - occasionally I'll get a warning that my battery temperature is above 120degF. My suspicion is that this is due to my aging phone rather than any failing in the charger/mount so I don't think it's fair to remove any stars, but still - if you plan to use this, keep an eye on your phone temp. It also is not as reliable as I first thought; my phone displays a particular notification when it detects a Qi charger, and it's pretty common to see that notification come and go many times during a drive, indicating that the charger has cut out and returned. Again, this may be a failing of my phone rather than the mount, so no deduction.

iOttie always makes the best stuff. This is the second mount I have bought from them as I got a new S7 and wanted the wireless charging, the old iOttie case I gave to my fiance and she loves it. I sort of wish I waited until iOttie puts out a new version of this that is capable of the wireless Fast Charging the new S7's are capable of, I will probably ask for it for Christmas.
NOTE: The description does not say but it comes with the Gel Dashboard pad that is part of the "Frequently bought together". I bought one and returned it because it was included! Return of the Gel Dashboard Pad was a snap as always as a Prime Item.
Grips my Prius's dash super tight and does a great job charging and the telescoping arm really lets you move it into any position you need.

Worthless expensive junk
I have bought other iOttie products and been very happy but this is a HUGE disappointment. It is nearly impossible to situate my phone so that the coil will mate up with my Droid MAXX and even if I do get it to link it stops right away. Not sure if it's because I got a bad one or if the coil is small or weak but this is an absolute waste of nearly $50. I would steer very clear of it.
