Perfect Cup, Solid Machine, Better Than the Competition I've Owned
(Purchased as a replacement for our second Krups EA8250, which sells for about half the price)
First and most importantly, the coffee is excellent: nice layer of crema, good temperature. Relatively fast. Quieter than the Krups. Machine self-rinses on power-up, and again on power-down. Easy to clean used grounds container. Cleaning cycle (required after 100 or 200 cups - can't remember) takes approximately 20 minutes.
Controls are easy to use, left button is surrounded by touch-screen-like buttons - super cool. There is a beans hopper on the right side, and a hopper for pre-ground coffee at the top which can be used to brew a cup of a different coffee. Great feature.
Mechanically it seems better built than the Krups - we owned two Krupa over 7 years and had *many* service issues and a several warranty repairs. I'll update this review should we encounter any mechanical issues with the Jura machine.

But with lavazza super crema beans
I'm coming up on a year with this machine in December. It can be a little picky about the beans (not oily). But with lavazza super crema beans, it performs quite well. I very seldom get a shot that I don't like. I vary my drinks day to day, and enjoy straight espresso, cortados, lattes, and occasionally coffee. It doesn't disappoint in either of the modes. I don't like that if I program my drink (2 shot espresso) and double tap the start button, it will simply pull double the volume, and not do a full 2 cycles of the double shot. There is a noticeable difference in the quality of the shots when I do this.
Overall, it was a good buy. I can only hope I get another 5 years out of this machine!
p.s. some people think I'm crazy bringing my Jura on vacation with me...they just don't understand that a good cup of Joe is really a necessity...

This machine is awesome. Works great
This machine is awesome. Works great. Very easy to use, and VERY easy to maintain. That last part is key. Our previous machine, Capressa, was a pain to keep clean. This is far easier. Had it for about 6 months now and I've no complaints. The cleaning tablets (ordered on 2DayDeliver) are a bit pricey, but I have to imagine far less the sending the machine in for repair (which we did on our Capressa machine) Other than the coffee, cleanliness and overall use of the machine, the maintenance aspect is pretty easy. Put a tablet in the grinder and push the button. Done.
It's a good machine. I've had no problems and have taught our 6 year old how to make us coffee in the morning. It's really simple. Great product.

The worst experience of Jura machine
Last 10 years of enjoyment from Jura E8 was suddenly ended. So I purchased this Jura C65. However after 2 weeks of normal usage , 4 to 5 cups per day, the quality of coffee start to go down hill with less crema and thin mild taste. I had to return it.

Better than your favorite coffee shop!
Better coffee at home than you can buy at a coffee shop. We had several Keurigs but found the machines didn't hold up well and also created so much waste with the discarded k-cups. The Jura is easy to use, gives clear instructions via an electronic display and brews the best coffee. You fill the machine with whole bean coffee and water. Each cup is brewed using freshly ground coffee beans. When the grounds fill an included receptacle, the machine prompts you to empty the grounds, which are biodegradable and great for your plants or garden. One word of advise for new owners - remember to keep an empty cup under the spout, as the machine does a "rinse" cycle after each cup.

When your Cuban neighbors come over and ask for a cup of coffee from your Jura, you know you have the right machine.

After extensive researching of current high(er) end coffee machines, I purchased the Jura C65 to replace my Jura F7 - which had finally failed after 11 years of reliable service. Set-up was fast and easy -- instruction booklet is well organized with useful diagrams. Am completing the 1st week of daily use: so far so good. The C65 produces excellent coffee. Controls are less complicated than my old F7, and it is easy to adjust to fit individual tastes -- strength, cup size, temperature, etc. Only fret is reliability -- will it match the duration of the F7?

and it looked good. But the performance
I am an experienced barista. I usually use a semi-automatic, but wanted a fully automatic to use when I have a lot of guests. I purchased this because the price was right, Jura is a proven workhorse in my office, and it looked good. But the performance. Meh. My espresso is watery. Even after experimenting with several grinds, I find it too watery. The milk frother? Ok but not hot enough. So I get watery, luke warm cappuccinos. I adjusted to doing double espressos and using a nespresso frother and that is acceptable. So after adjusting all the settings (including temperature), I am getting mediocre outcomes. I am not thrilled but will tolerate because returning it at this stage is not feasible and besides, don't trust any other options. I will likely go back to a semi-automatic machine so I can get the consistency and heat I like. Disappointed.

Worth the price
Best coffee ever. Worth the price. I believe it in the long run is cheaper than a keurig. No pods, just beans and no landfill nightmare with expensive plastic pods. Better tasting coffee by far.

Inferior Jura Design.
My Jura Ena 9 was Lost in a fire. I purchased the c65. I was disappointed in many ways but it stopped working after a few uses. The instruction booklet that came with it was difficult to follow. The coffee styles was limited. I did like the water container on the left side as it held more water than my old Ena 9. I sent the unit back and will purchase the Ena 9 again.
