These colored pencils are wonderful. They color to a smooth finished look. Great for shading or coloring. Perfect for those adult coloring books! My only complaint is that I wish I'd bought a bigger pack size so I had more colors!

Good option for adult coloring books!
So normally I use Prismacolor colored pencils which tend to cost quite a bit; while Prismacolor premier pencils are terrific for more serious art work, they are totally over-kill for one of my personal quirky little hobbies...adult coloring books. I started coloring long before it became the trend it is today...it was just a mindless way for me to relax a bit after a long day but I didn't want to use my "real" art pencils for coloring. I tried a few brands available at the local big box store...most were a supreme disappointment with the exception of Prang brand which are surprisingly decent for the ultra low price but lack the vitality of colors. This set is somewhere in between...not as robust, long lasting or vibrant as Prismacolor but also nowhere near as costly...yet also much richer and robust than pencils found in most big box stores. A good balance with a nice color selection for those who enjoy adult coloring books! Coupon code resulted in low/no price purchase for evaluation.

I color for pleasure. Very soft and nice variety. I would like to be able to see them better from the box while I'm using them, so that I can choose the colors, but I stuck them in a clear jar and it works well. No major issues with breakage when sharpening (I try to be gentle anyway).

Well-made pencils with Vivid colors that are pretty easy to blend
I’m a newbie to the world of Adult Coloring, but in my novice opinion these are good intermediate grade pencils. I was offered a box of 36 for evaluation and I was impressed by how vivid and brilliant the colors were. The Pink is almost fuchsia and Yellow is bright and lemon-y. Also, the painted end of each pencil exactly matches the color that is transferred to the paper. With some of the darker color it is difficult to judge the actual color based on the pencil core, but you can be certain that your drawn line will be the exact shade shown on the painted end of the pencil.
As I mentioned earlier the colors are vivid and the intense shade is easy to achieve with just one pass. No need to go over the same spot again and again. The marks are also easy to lighten with an eraser, and if you are persistent they colors can be erased completely. The colors are blendable and can be layered. The core is not too soft and not too hard. It is soft enough to fill large areas with a single color, but hard enough to fill in intricate parts.
Construction wise the pencils are well made. They feel slender in my hand (feel slightly thinner than a No. 2 pencil), and are easy to grip. The cores are all centered (if the color core is not centered, they are impossible to sharpen), and I didn’t find any pencils with production problems (none of the barrels where chipped or crushed during printing). A few of the sharpened points were broke during shipping, but no big deal.
So these Huhuhero pencils are a good option for the hobbyist/artist working on Adult Coloring Books, but I do recommend getting the larger set. I found that the 36 count set didn’t have enough pastel colors for my taste.

on 2015-10-07 Nice basic set of colored pencils, ideal for students, etc.
These colored pencils, brand named Raffine/Marco, are manufactured by Axus Stationary, which has offices in Shanghai, China. I have only doodled with them so far (I've added scans of a couple of doodles I did with these pencils) but I think they are good colored pencils suitable for sketching, use by students, and certainly for children (such as my grandchildren) to use for art projects and fun. Each of the 36 pencils in the sample set I received to review has a different three-digit number stamped on it, which I assume corresponds to the color of each pencil, but no information to enable users to identify each pencil by number came with the pencils, and I can find no such information at the manufacturer's site (marco dot cn). I did send a message to Axus to ask if such a list is available and I've yet to receive a reply, but if I do, I'll update this review.
Color names are not printed on the pencils. I'm sure many users will be fine using colored pencils without knowing the names of the various colors, but I'm color blind and like and sometimes need to know the names.
Some colored pencil manufacturers have professional and student grades (e.g., Prismacolor has Premiere and Scholar colored pencils), and I'd say that these Raffine Colored Pencils are student grade. I find that they don't blend as easily or as well and are generally not as brilliant as professional grade colored pencils, but they are less expensive and are certainly adequate for student work.
They sharpen well for me in a Prismacolor Premier Pencil Sharpener
that I bought from 2DayDeliver a few years ago, that's designed to sharpen colored pencils. I try to avoid sharpening colored pencils in regular sharpeners because I find that the tips often break too easily in them.

Excellent quality pencils with a variety of wonderful colors
My 11 year and I love these pencils !She is very into tracing, coloring, drawing and art projects. We try to find a little time every week to do small little art things together. Even if it's just making a card or coloring a picture she traced. These are her favorite pencils now.
They write and color well and smoothly. They make nice lines and color in well. They blend with each other nicely. I'm not an artist, so this is the opinion of an amateur, but I really enjoy using them. There is an excellent assortment of colors, plenty of greens for forest and outdoor drawings. Lovely purples and pinks and some vibrant blues. She was so excited about all the colors!
The only small suggestion I would have is to package them in a way that they are easier to spread out and display. I did tip the whole box upside down so they were still halfway in and halfway out, then staggered the tiers so we could see the colors easier. Some sort of design that intentionally made it easier to look at them all at once would be helpful. We debated putting them all in a pencil box, but it's nice to have all the similar colors together without having to shuffle through them. So we're keeping them in the box. We were sent them to test and review. That has no bearing on the rating or review I am giving them, this is my honest opinion.

Very smooth, deliver a lot of pigment, but don't need frequent sharpening, really nice & easy to use

I received the 72 color set.
These are the size of #2 pencils, so the grip is very similar to that. They sharpen with a standard sharpener, but I usually use an xacto knife to sharpen mine. They really color beautifully, and very smoothly, putting down much more pigment than colored pencils I've used in the past. When I began drawing with my set.
These draw smoothly, with bold, vivid colors that at times seem almost more like coloring or using a pastel than using a pencil, though the tips last and don't wear down quickly. I'm very impressed really, as I've never really enjoyed pencils all that much before, but I really love these.
The below doodle is just my attempt to get a bit of every single color of pencil onto a paper. In my set there were no 2 colors that were the same, and all colors were well represented.
