EXCELLENT GENERATOR!!! Was all set to buy a similar model Honda generator at almost $800.00 more to run my AC on my travel trailer, but I decided to take a chance and try this one. GREAT DECISION! Put the oil and fuel in and it started on the very first pull right out of the box. My business neighbor has the Honda unit and we did a side by side comparison. This one is actually slightly smaller and lighter (and you will love the built-in collapsible handle and solid wheels - costs extra on the Honda) but with a bigger fuel capacity and even though it's rated at 58 db and the Honda at 56 db, this one was more quiet and couldn't be heard at all from about 10 feet away. Ran my 13,000 BTU RV air conditioner for 5 hours and only used 2/3 of a tank of fuel. Has a really nice digital meter that shows the "load" the generator is outputting and my AC unit running continuously only show a 47% to 53% load capacity. PLENTY OF POWER!!!

Absolutely Awesome Generator!!!!
I was looking for a generator I could use for my tailgates and instances when power was either out our not avaliable. I looked at Honda inverter generators which are good but VERY expensive! After much research, I decided to go with Briggs Inverter. I am so glad I did!
I researched for 2 weeks prior to making purchase. I decided to buy and the package arrived fine. Generator save and sound. Was worried a bit about the sound but on first test it was very quite compared to regular generators I tested and comparable if not quieter than the Honda. To test I hooked up my 60 in. TV, 2200 system, satellite swim and direct tv cable box. It powered everthing at 40-80% depending how loud I pushed the system. I can't say enough how quite this generator is at $1000 less expensive than the Honda. I will run non ethonal gas in it. The oil location isn't that bad plus the machine comes with a funnel and had a drain tray that assist with draining/changing oil when needed.
Absolutely awesome machine. I would buy again and highly recommend!
Additional info: this 30.00 unit has the ability to be parelleled with another Briggs Inverter unit. In my research I found the 2000W Briggs Inverter is not currently parallelable. Speaking with a sales rep during a show, the new model will have this feature. Scheduled release is October/November 2015.
UPDATE: Used the generator at my tailgate for the UGA v Bama Gm. This Briggs and Stratton generator was AWESOME! Sat it right under the TV and none even knew it was there. It handled the 45" TV, the cable box, electric satellite switch, cell phones (at least 4 plugged in all day), and my 2200W Sony Shake system on 1 tank of gas! We started at 8:30 a.m. and took it down at 7 p.m. This generator is money plus cash! There is not a better unit on the market PERIOD for the money! I wish 2DayDeliver had more stars!

Great generators and very quiet
I purchased both the P3000 and the P2000 so I could parallel them if and when needed. These generators are very nice and very quiet. I read some reviews that said they may not be as quiet as the Honda's were, but I tested them against my brother-in-law's Honda and these were within 1-2 dB of the Honda. Not even discernable without a sound meter. I also wanted to know how the dB measured as compared to how they were advertised. They are advertised at 59 dB at 1/4 load. Though I did not have a certified sound meter, I downloaded 3 different sound meter apps, 2 of which had readings within 0.5-1.0 dB of each other, while the 3rd was several dB higher, so I disregarded that one. My P3000 ran at 57 dB in eco mode and 63 dB when not in eco mode. The P2200 ran at 57dB in eco mode and 61 dB when not in eco mode. That is good enough for me. Yes, they only come with a 2 year warranty as compared to the 3 year with the Honda, but Briggs & Stratton is still a huge name in engines and I think and hope they will still last every bit as long. Not only do they have a little more style to them than Honda, as well as additional features, they were also a couple hundred dollars cheaper. Not to mention you are getting more wattage in the combination of the two also. Right now I highly recommend these generators.

You wont be disapointed.
I love it. Starts on the first pole. Fairly quiet. Have about 20 hours on it now running an RV. Wont run the A/C. I like this little unit so much, Im gonna sell my Yamaha 3000 on Craigslist and buy the Briggs P3000 to go with the 2200. You wont be sorry.

This is for the p2200. Very impressed with the quality. Started on the second pull after adding gas and oil. My friend has the Honda 2000, ran them side by side and they very similar sounding.
