Best nights sleep camping ever.
We just got back from Oshkosh and I used this pad while camping at the North Forty. I have never has such a comfortable nights sleep while camping in all my years of camping. I like a fairly soft mattress and knew from tests at home that this thing actually gets too firm for me; it's a simple matter of laying on it and gently unscrewing one of the caps just enough to let out the air until it gets perfect for my tastes. If you like a firm mattress then add a couple of puffs into one of the valves after it inflates itself. I know there are cheaper sleeping pads but this thing is getting a solid 5 Star rating for a reason. If you are serious about getting a good nights sleep and you can afford a few dollars more I highly recommend this pad.

Ordered this item (along with others that will also get reviews) to use in a converted utility trailer. Everything arrived on schedule with Prime and all contents were properly packed. There were no shipping issues at all. I have used the mattress once now on a plywood "bed" and IT IS EXTREMELY COMFORTABLE! You cannot feel anything under the mattress! I had a great night sleep on this.

To a good night sleep...
So far, so good! I got it in on a Thursday, took it out camping that weekend and found it to be very nice and comfy! It "self" inflated right away, a little slow, but you can blow it to help speed it up as well as to add firmness. I slept well on it all through the night!
The next day, I let all the air out to see if it would self fill faster. It did...
I am very happy with my purchase and plan on putting it to more good use!!!

We found the answer!
Researched the heck out of these and I'm quite pleased with my choice. Got them to make a hide-a-bed
more tolerable in our motorhome. Unrolled 'em and opened the valves...and left overnight as per instructions.
Next morning they were indeed 3" thick (with no add'l inflation) and super comfortable. The Mrs preferred hers
a bit less firm so we left some air out to about the 2 1/2" mark. Everybody's happy! Well constructed and they did
indeed "stay put". The glowing reviews are right on the money, so add my 5 stars to the mix. Woot!

Used them on our trawler - excellent
Bought 2 of these for additional mattress power on our boat. Slept on board over the weekend, and the Flexform was great. That said, the secret is to allow it to inflate fully, then adjust the firmness once you are settled; (it's very easy, just open the vents until you have the correct firmness.)
Visitors were very impressed with these pads.
Flexform also stow away very well, which is important on a trawler.

Comfortable but Hard to Deflate
So comfortable. I slept really well on this. It's pretty firm but plushy. Only downside is, while it's very easy to inflate (just need to open the air valves), it's hard for me to deflate. The air inflating is very powerful, and for every bit of air I manage to squeeze out, a good bit will come back in once I shift my body weight. Finally I got someone else to help me, using both of our knees to push out the air as we slowly roll up the pad.
Also, might not be so convenient if you're planning to take this to backpacking. It's a little bulky, and quite wide.

Super comfy, warm, and firm feeling
Just came back (literally reached home after two days comping a couple of hours back) from camping and I am happy that I got these. They are a bit pricey compared to other options like other sleeping pads or air mattress, but you get superior comfort at night. Air mattress is the worst you can take during a camping. They are super uncomfortable, cold at night, and the worst part is that you need to get up in the middle of the night to put some more air.
Take my word and get these. I do not have any idea how long they will last since this was the first trip with these, so lets see how they do. Putting back to the bag was not that hard. You just need to keep it under your knee as you roll them.

The most comfortable sleep pad we own!
We first bought a Lightspeed sleep pad from Costco when it was on sale and really liked it. We wanted to buy two more, but the sale at Costco had ended. On 2DayDeliver we were able to find this Plush XL pad for the same price as the Costco sale price. The two products were slightly different material, but had an R-Value that was close (9.0 vs 9.66) so we hoped it would be just as nice as the Costco pad. To our joy, this pad was so much nicer than the one from Costco for the same price! The cover material feels so much softer than the usual sleep pad covering and it has a slightly higher R-Value of 9.66 so it kept me warmer than our other sleep pads including our thermarest. This pad also has a slightly raised headrest that the pad from Costco did not have. We just came back from camping and this sleep pad was so luxurious that we ended up buying another one so everyone in the family could have one. Lightspeed products are well designed and this particular pad is exceptional! Thank you Lightspeed for a great product & 2DayDeliver for having competitive pricing!

Super comfortable pad but how do I find the leak?
First of all, as far as comfort goes this pad definitely deserves 5 stars. I love camping, but as a side sleeper, it is next to impossible to find anything to sleep on that doesn't have me waking up with hip pain every hour or so. This thing is a dream compared to anything I've used in the past. It is bulky even for car camping, but well worth the space it takes up. And as other reviews have said, it takes some serious work to roll it up, but it gets easier with practice. However, after about 12 nights of camping on it, I seem to have a leak somewhere on the pad. I searched through other reviews hoping to find out how and if anyone else had this problem. I don't recall getting a patch kit with mine but even if I did (very possible I just lost it) how do I find where it's leaking from? This thing is so big I don't think I could do a test in the bath rub, and I don't know if that is ok since it is foam anyway. So I'm writing this review because this product is awesome and I want to have it for a long time but also I would love some advice! Has anyone had this problem? How did you fix it?

It is very comfortable. I recommend this to any one who camps
I followed the instructions and let it inflate overnight when I received it. It only took a few puffs in the morning to get it adjusted to my desired firmness. I cannot believe how plush this thing is. It is very comfortable. I recommend this to any one who camps. If your a minimalist hiker this would be a little to bulky however light speed makes more compact ones.

Success, at last!!
As comfortable and easy to inflate and deflate as I could imagine a camping pad could be. I bought a Kamp-Rite cot to go with it. I'm a side sleeper and have back/hip pain. This made camping in a tent bearable. I've tried many different pads, air mattresses and other options and this was the first comfortable nights' sleep I've had in a tent in years.

I finally found my camping pad!
I am still amazed by the comfort of this pad! I have had many other "luxury" pads and they all have a stiffness too them that makes them feel like an air mattress. This thing is plush and the outer material makes it possible to sleep without a sheet! The less I have to pack into the middle of nowhere the better!
I wouldn't backpack this thing, but for a UTV/ATV it can't be beat! I am going to be ordering a 2nd to replace my previous camp pad. I just can't sleep on it, or let anyone else sleep on it, after using this Lightspeed one.
If you are looking for comfort and don't have to carry it on your back, I highly doubt you will find something better at this price! I look forward to seeing what else this company makes! *cough* Queen size *cough*

Most comfortable mat I've ever used
I used it camping in a backyard for 3 nights - it does provide a lot of thermal insulation on the ground. The night time temps dint get too cold, maybe in the low 50's but my sleeping bag was way too light. I ended up sleeping directly on the Lightspeed mat and using the sleeping bag as a blanket. the mat was fantastic, it kept me warm and comfortable, and extremely well- cushioned against the ground. I couldn't feel any bumps or anything under it. It unrolls and self-inflates completely within about 10 minutes. I opened it up and let it self-inflate when i arrived at the campsite, and gave it a couple extra puffs of air. that's all there was to it. Packing it up takes a couple minutes, but its the same as rolling up a sleeping bag. Overall, I was amazed at how good the thing worked.

Super happy with this purchase! I inflated yesterday when it came and let it sit for 24 hours. It's super comfortable and I cannot wait to sleep on it for camping! No more hard grounds or deflated air matresses and rolling off the mat. This is big and comfy. I'm already having my relatives get this brand when they shop for theirs.

Great product and a reasonable price
Great pad at a good price. Amazingly comfortable and seemingly well made. Haven't been able to use it yet but will no doubt be impressed. Only thing I wish they made one 3 inch that's narrower to use while motorcycle camping as this product is to wide at over 30 inches and even a little longer than needed for a 6 foot guy. No product faults I can see at this time.

Comfortable enough to sleep outside!
Comfortable enough to sleep outside! While that may sound odd because that is its purpose, I say that as someone who normally requires a cot and mattress on campout. This one is obviously the widest I could find (and so it doesn't roll out particularly small), but it was comfortable enough to sleep all night on the ground. What more could you ask?

Worth the Purchase
Really happy with how easily this inflated. I found it easy to roll up by compressing as much air out until the end, close the air vents. Then unrolling it out (keeping the air vents closed) and rolling it back up tighter, then open the air vents again towards the end of the roll to release the last bit of air and sealing the vent again for storage. I'll never get it back to the original packaging tightness but this sleeping pad stores away pretty compact already with all our other camping gear. Great buy!

comfortable, easy to set up and take down
Bought this for truck camping with a tent and for use as a palate for kids sleep overs. This mat is just as advertised - thick, comfortable, easy to set up and take down. I am very impressed with its comfort. I'm 43 y/o and I've been camping my whole life and have slept on everything from sand to the old spring, fold up type cots from WalMart and wish I had one of these back then. I have an oversized cot with a thick sleep pad now and this pad is right up there with my high rated cot/pad combo. I would definitely recommend.

Sleeps like a big cloud
Really comfortable self-inflating sleeping pad. It's quite long too. I'm a thin 5'10" and had PLENTY of mat above my head and below my toes. Got the widest one because why not. Was plenty comfortable and not once did I roll off it in my sleep.
As indicated, it IS necessary to let it self inflate for about a day the first time you use it. This really allows the air to infiltrate the foamy stuffing and puff up properly. If you do this, you'll be sleeping on a cloud.

No patch kit but amazing sleep pad
I absolutely love these! I bought two of them for a week long camping trip which ended up being a glamping trip because of these bad boys!! The only thing I'm worried about is if they get a tear or a rip... lightspeed doesn't give a small patch kit just in case. Or they do and I just didn't get one :( they also should make a duffle bag like handle on the cary case. :)
