The packets work great. Within a couple of days all the ants disappeared. However, they return in about two weeks and I had to open another packet.

Won’t Be Buying Again
Not impressed. The bait splashes out of the package when you snap it open. Therefore, I wouldn’t recommend opening it as directed on the package. Instead, turn it so the word “PUSH†is facing away from you and pull it towards you. Aside from that, the design is ridiculously stupid. It’s incredibly difficult for the ants to reach the bait. I ended up just pouring the bait into the floor, so they could get to it. At that point, they gathered around it like cows at a watering hole. I wouldn’t recommend this and wouldn’t buy it again. Yeah, the ants like the bait and I’m sure it will work, but there are MUCH better delivery mechanisms.

So far -- it sucks twice over
Crappy trap design - my tiny ants would have trouble getting into it if they were interested. They are not interested. I poured a little out and they avoid it. I put three traps out in the path of three ant trails. All the ants went around it. Whenever, they bump into, the go into into hyperdrive to run away from from it.
To summarize, this is supposed to be attractive to them and they avoid it instead. Further, the design doesn't work. You have to construct your own little ramps so they can crawl in. Who the hell did the product testing on this? The design alone requires brain damage to approve. I think the VP at Ortho who approved this should have to sleep among these ants and his traps. Lets see how effective s/he thinks they are then.
I am just bummed that people get away with the bad designs like this. It speaks of corporate momentum, where something must be sold so is sold, and consumers are left holding the bag, or trap as it may happen to be.
