Priceless gear for a good nights sleep
The Lightspeed XL Super Plush sleeping pad is one of the better investments in camping gear that I have ever made. Yes, there are cheaper brands and models, in fact I own several of them. But, none of them compare in comfort and warmth to the Super Plush. I weigh over 220lbs, and I am a side sleeper, so I need support, or I can't sleep, and I spend a miserable night rolling around pissed off that I was so stupid as to go camping in the first place, and without a good sleeping pad in the second place. On the Super Plush, I do not even need to add any breaths of air to get it full enough to support me. Just open the valves, walk away for several minutes, and then close the valves - that easy. It is also very warm. I spent one night in the mid 30s with no problem at all. I can roll it up and fit it in the oversize carrying bag in just a few minutes with no strain at all - just use your legs to compress as you roll and go up to the pillow end and close the valves. The fabric is soft to the touch, quiet, and no funky odor. This pad is great for car camping, or for short carry-in camping sites. I have to strap it to the outside of my Molle II Rucksack, as it is too long to slide all the way in, and would stick out the top. I do have another Lightspeed sleeping pad that is only 25 inches, and that one is a great pad as well. These guys know what they are doing with sleeping pads. The Super Plush is expensive, but in relative terms to other high-end pads, it is a bargain. A good night's sleep is priceless!

Perfect for side and back sleepers in the cold and rain!
I purchased this sleeping pad for a 7 day camping trip chaperoning 14 8th graders. I knew my backpacking Thermarest would not suffice the quality of sleep I need to survive each day. Plus we camped on the Olympic peninsula in Washington State with a forecast for rain. I am a back and side sleeper. Most air mattresses aren't comfortable to me on my side so I was looking for foam. This is a BPA free foam mattress that ROCKED!
It ships in large box. Once you take it out of the package I recommend letting it inflate all the way for a day or two for the foam to reach it's potential. It comes with two roll up straps and a carrying bag. Other reviewers said it was difficult to put back in but I found it quite easy. I watched a video on YouTube for the most efficient way to roll it up (folding it into fourths while kneeling on it, then close the release and roll it and open the air knobs at the very end). It's durable, soft, and best for car, or yellow bus :) camping. It kept me warm and dry during the rain too!

Used in tent for one night so far. little wider than another mat we have which is nice. Put wool blanket under this pad and then sleeping bag directly on top of pad. Did not have issue with cold air coming from the bottom like I do when sleeping on an air mattress. It was very comfy, no issues at all with feeling the lumpy ground.

So far they are everything they state the are!
I bought two mattress, and will take them both out camping this weekend coming up. The instructions say to inflate them prior to the first use for at least 24 hours and I would agree. The are vacuum sealed out of the box and it take a bit for it to fully inflate. However, after that it only mine just a couple minutes to inflate. I plan to just open then up after we get the camp site set and then just before bed close down the valves for a restful night sleep.
Note: I am a bigger guy in weight and have yet touched the floor with my body once I am fully on the mattress.

I've used similar ones when camping. This is the best. I live in a small apartment and don't have room for a fold up bed or cot for visiting family & friends. I give up my bed and someone also sleeps on the sofa. They get comfy and I'm on the carpet in my sleeping bag. Putting this down first was a major improvement. For me, I was as comfortable as could be. Inflated quick & easy. Haven't rolled it up yet. Like the others I've had it might be a challenge, but its worth it. Excellent quality. Worth the price.

Didn't have to reinflate like the travel wedge
Very good mattress, set it up according to the instructions when it came time for my trip, very easy to deflate and inflated instantly. I was able to turn it into a wedge by putting a pillow under the head of the mattress, worked beautifully.

Very thick and comfortable and wide enough to allow you to roll around
Very thick and comfortable and wide enough to allow you to roll around. Great for car camping and the like, but definitely not for backpacking as it is pretty large and heavy - even when packed (very wide).

A very comfortable pad.
A very thick and comfortable sleeping pad. It compresses down pretty small for storage. Not small enough for backpacking, but great for car camping. I love it!

Easily substitutes for a air mattress. Very nice.
Excellent quality. Well worth the upgrade. I usually use a double high air mattress when camping, but this did the trick and was very comfortable.

Super comfortable, but a little heavy
This pad is unbelievably comfortable. Better than an inflatable air mattress, way better than a therma-rest type pad. The only downside is size and particularly weight. At 6.5 lbs, it's heavy for backpacking.
