This Quantum Storage Systems M2436C47 four-tier wire shelving cart is made of chrome-finished carbon steel for strength, has four swivel stem casters and four shelves, and is suitable for sorting, storing, and transporting items. The shelf cart's open wire design offers visibility of contents, permits air circulation in the work environment, and helps resist dust build-up. Its chrome finish helps resist dirt and corrosion. The wire shelves have a welded construction and are reinforced with wire trusses and struts for strength, and they adjust in 1" increments to accommodate items of varying heights. The posts on this cart are made of 16-gauge steel for strength, and are grooved at 1" intervals to help guide installation of the shelves at desired heights. Split sleeves on the posts hold and support the shelves. This cart has four 5" polyurethane swivel stem casters with brakes on two casters for control and maneuverability. A rubber donut bumper on each caster helps protect walls and furniture from damage. The shelves and posts meet National Sanitation Foundation/American National Standards Institute (NSF/ANSI) Standard 2 for use in food handling and processing, dry storage only.
The assembled cart measures 69 x 60 x 18 inches (H x W x D). (H is height, the vertical distance from lowest to highest point; W is width, the horizontal distance from left to right; D is depth, the horizontal distance from front to back.) This shelving cart has a 600 lb. per shelf capacity when evenly distributed across the shelf; the total cart capacity is not to exceed 1,000 lb.
